I've never been bothered by any kind of bugs in the parks. WDW is a very well engineered, manicured, pest-controlled environment.

Don't know about MK, but Epcot is deserted on Labor Day. We go every year for Labor Day weekend. It's not crowded like Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.

I won't stay in a resort that allows dogs, ever. And I have told Disney that in surveys many times. I stayed at Royal Pacific (Universal) once where they allow animals, and got mauled at every corner by uncontrolled, unruly pets. Hated it.

It's not possible to call any of the WDW resorts directly! You can only get a call center. Just have Central Reservations (aka the call center!) put your request on the ressie, which is exactly what DisneyInsider stated.

If you "draw out" a 7:00pm seating the 7:40pm folks won't even get a seat. Why malinger? The view from R&C is not even that good. Go outside and watch, you'll get a better view and won't annoy the servers for hours on end.

I can't stand it when people whine about DVC. If you don't like it don't buy it, and leave the DVC to those of us who appreciate it. The more perks Disney gives people the more they think they're entitled to... ridiculous.
