Yes, Exactly. Now I have heard/read before that part of the deal with WDW being in Florida involved cheaper passes for residents but that may just be urban legend. But like you said, it just seems backwards to me.

I'm out of state and only do AP's once every 3 years or so. In fact my AP expires this month with no plans to renew. Now if they offered a lower tier AP, I would probably renew every year, even if I was only going down for a couple of long weekends a year. They would at least get some hotel...

I'm going to pile on as well. It's just not a good attraction no matter the scene. It's a pass for us even as a walk on.

Unfortunately Disney is beholden to Wall Street. The old guard is gone. Their higher salaries affected the bottom line. Now you have younger Imagineers with no mentors and tight budgets.

I'm not a fan of the animation style, but for me, it's the best trackless ride in WDW.

I think people who can afford to go on luxury vacations tend to go on luxury vacations. Disney is an expensive vacation, not a luxury vacation. We must not confuse the 2.

I dont know. It seems people like Disney stuff while in Disney World. Not the NBA, etc. If this is heavily themed to the mouse, maybe. If not, I just dont see it working out.

Same here. We go multiple times a year with an AP, not at all or just a resort hopping/DS stay.

Not sure Disney vacationists are looking for escape rooms at Cake Bake Shop prices because I'm sure they will be priced considerably higher than you normal escape room experience. Having said that, anything is better than the NBA experience.
