Wow, I posted a new thread about two weeks ago about using the old tower as a new Rapunzel tower and it got exactly one response. Doesn't seem so far fetched now.

I think our guy was retired for us, if you know what I mean, really nice guy. New guy's name is Jack something. We don't like him, he's very short when we call and doesn't seem willing to go the extra mile at all. Any recommendations for someone who is a good bit nicer?

Saw the miniature. It was much better before they added the hair over the light strands. After hair it barely glowed even at night. I hate to see all these new movies quickly lose steam in WDW because all they throw out there is a M&G.

Looking at the skyway demolition pics the tower to the right of the building looks like it could be a perfect fit for Rapunzel's tower. Round it out and put on a slightly different roof... but I doubt it will ever happen. Just seems like a good fit to reuse something already built.

Toontown is gone for over a year and all we get is double Dumbo? Other than that sounds almost exactly like Toontown, just rethemed. Now that's plussing it!

The second picture of it was during Easter before F & G. It looked much better at night before they added the hair over the light strings. After the hair was added you could barely tell that it lit up. The top picture is the final version.

I read the contract a few months ago. Uni has the rights to the current characters the have built rides for as long as they do not shut them down. They are not allowed to build any new rides using Marvel characters and they can't reuse the same characters already in use on a completely new ride...

I'm all for putting more resort ferries into service to alleviate the need to take the monorail. From the TTC the ferry is the only safe bet anymore.

Seems like going back to the old system and just getting some drivers who won't fall asleep at 3am will solve all the problems. The monorail system has gone from awesome to junk in the last year. Unreliable and extremely slow now.
