OK you both disagree on if the Speedway is fun or not...moving on. Let's get back on track concerning the insanely awesome news (and something I never thought would actually happen) that Tomorrowland is getting the Shanghai Tron coaster!!

If it does indeed replace the Speedway, I wonder how this is going to affect the Peoplemover...I'm excited to see how they pull this off, but they're going to need to put some pretty major boundaries to properly separate the Tron attraction from Fantasyland

I'm curious if someone would mind elaborating on a couple of things. How exactly does the wall in front of you open up? Is it an obvious transition or is there some kind of Avatar "linking" effect and suddenly the wall is gone and you're immersed in the environment? Does the screen/dome...

Couldn't agree more, his "gimmick" (I pray it's a gimmick, if he's actually like that in person I don't know how he's made it this far in life) is garbage and has been for quite some time now.

Because it's what a massive chunk of the community here lives for. You'll typically see the same members salivating the moment WDW1974 posts a new thread that will no doubt be filled with sprinkles of insider info mixed with a massive dose of "wit"...............

Stretching pretty hard with that comment. As a Disney World nut for over 25 years I find it to be a pretty charming upgrade. Maelstrom had its own charm but I certainly can't justify it as being an attraction that didn't deserve a nice sendoff and update. My only gripe is the location

Exactly. I certainly don't expect them to fill up the wall of the Emporium with this type of merchandise but a corner of one of the stores selling T-shirts etc from Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Ducktales and Rescue Rangers would be a massive hit.

They're bringing back Ducktales in 2017 so maybe that will spark a resurgence in merchandise
