    MK Mine Ride Construction Update

If 7DMT does open Saturday, what kind of impact could it be expected to have on MK crowds that day and also over the next week?

    MK Mine Ride Construction Update

Perhaps because I'm a word geek, I'm nitpicking, but to commemorate means to be done in rememberance of a past event, so maybe @PrincessNelly_NJ is onto something :)

MK SOFT OPENING WATCH - Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Coaster

Maybe I mentioned it in this thread before, maybe it was in another one--if y'all have already heard this rambling from me, my apologies--but I think it will open after the media event and that the intention has alwas been for the media to be the first to see it and with no soft openings to the...

    Migraines and WDW

Maybe you misread my original post, as I did not ask anyone how to prevent a migraine from occurring, but thanks for trying to point me in the direction of a medical professional and guest services--I have those in our arsenal :)

    Migraines and WDW

Actually, it's not medical advice I am asking for, though I did pose a similar question to her doctor who offered nothing particularly useful about sprefic types of attractions to avoid; rather, I am asking from people's personal experiences if they've observed any particular attractions that...

    Migraines and WDW

You poor thing!!! 2-3 a week for 20 years. Oh my! We (myself and my daughter) actually both have celiac disease, so we are both very strictly gluten free, as well as soy free, and I've also removed artificial colors, dyes, preservatives and additives from her diet. I'm sure she might indulge in...

    Migraines and WDW

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I've been in contact with her neuro today who says she will be ready to start a new prophylactic immediately (like 2 days) before our trip, so hopefully it will have a chance to work into her system some.

    Migraines and WDW

If she was to get a headache, would first aid be able to do anything to help? Like, maybe offer a quiet, dark place for her to rest until her rescue med kicks in and I can get her back to the hotel? I'm especially concerned about what we would do if she is to get a migraine while at the park. It...

    Migraines and WDW

Thanks! Because she wears glasses, we ordered a Rx pair of sunglasses thinking it might be a wise move. It's reassuring to hear others saying they think it might help also. Does Dinosaur have any lighting effects?

    Migraines and WDW

Triggers are most likely all visually related. Lights, etc.

    Migraines and WDW

Drastic changes in light are a concern for me, as I believe most of her triggers are visually related. Could you tell me of more rides like this, please? Also, do you have problems with flashes for ride photos?

    Migraines and WDW

Certain lighting seems to have the greatest impact on her ability to develop a headache. We noticed that when she'd get one at school it would always come on gym days, so they adjusted the lighting to meet her needs, and she hasn't gotten on at school since. I think her headaches are related to...

    Migraines and WDW

My daughter suffers from frequent migraines. Due to adverse side effects, her doctor just stopped the preventive medication she has been taking which had successfully held off a nasty headache for months. My daughter's headaches are completely debilitating. Without the prophylactic now our only...

    MK Mine Ride Construction Update

I want it to be true--we're there May 3-11. I keep hearing conflicting reports however, and I'm a little nervous we'll just miss it. I can't imagine that it won't be ready for riders at the time of the media preview, as I think it would be pretty embarrassing for Disney to have put forth such an...
