EPCOT Spaceship Earth Redo Shelved Indefinitely

I'd say the only wins are Guardians (which should've been in DHS tbh) & Ratatouille. I'm not really sure what everything in the middle was supposed to accomplish. Moana is nice but I don't really get why they made it.

Disney's Hollywood Studios vs Universal Studios Florida

I think DHS has a really strong attraction lineup. It desperately needs more attractions, but I think every ride that's there is great (even small stuff like Alien Saucers is a lot of fun) & I like most of the shows too (Frozen & the theater showing Mickey reruns need to go though). The theming...

Should Disney create theme park attractions based on the Simpsons when they are legally allowed to do so after the Universal deal expires?

Even if there's been some recent projects with more risqué jokes, I feel The Simpsons's irreverent, satirical tone isn't a good fit for the parks. The closest thing in the parks rn would be The Muppets but they still feel more earnest than The Simpsons are. It'd be very odd to go from a Star...

MK Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

Would running the show with broken AAs potentially cause more damage to them? I'm not sure if the new show is getting entirely new AAs, but I think Disney would want to avoid further damage either way.

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

I do agree that we tend to overexaggerate the parks side of things since we're all theme park fanatics here. I definitely think there should be something new actively being built right now. But it doesn't matter as much to the once in a lifetime or once every couple years families, at least in...

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

Tbf this has always been a problem with TV. I remember the days of clicking "Next channel" nonstop or endlessly scrolling through the guide. I will say that streaming is probably hurting kids TV a lot though. There was a lot of shows back then that I wouldn't have watched, let alone became a...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

A little house in the background of a scene with "BR" on the mailbox would be nice. I doubt they'll go that far though.

MK Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

Yeah, this would've been a good alternative. I just don't think they could've kept going on with these ancient songs that modern audiences don't know of. I get the original show became a cult classic but if you didn't grow up with the show it just gives a "Huh?" reaction.

MK Country Bear Jamboree is getting new songs and acts

I have no attachments to any of the songs from the original show (except Davy Crockett) nor did the show win me over on them. So, this will be an improvement for me. More recent country songs might've been a more appropriate choice though.

MK Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

Eh, I don't care about Disney's dumb new names for it. They have a nature side & a space/tech side, that fits Wall-E to me.

Should Disney create theme park attractions based on the Simpsons when they are legally allowed to do so after the Universal deal expires?

The Simpsons is my favorite show of all-time, but I don't feel it fits in the Disney parks. The IPs that are in the Disney parks all either have a sense of magic, wonder or thrill to them. Purchased IPs like Star Wars, Marvel & Indiana Jones fit this; even outside IPs like Twilight Zone fit...

MK Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

Wall-E belongs in EPCOT. That movie's themes & messages fit the entire front half of that park perfectly.

EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Yeah, I had mentioned "the restaurant" & I think that's fine. I just don't want their "home", aka where their big attraction is, to move out of DHS.

MK Stitch's Great Escape Replacement— Don’t Hold Your Breath

It's weird but I feel like Fox's movies would be a better fit for the parks than The Simpsons, even the R rated ones. Maybe it's because the parks have always favored cinematic series over TV ones.

MK Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

It really doesn't seem like there's a slow season here in Orlando anymore. Maybe mid August to the end of September, but it's not a long slow season.

EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

Yeah I'd be down for that. I would prefer a Muppet dark ride but I'd take what I could get lol I'm okay with bits of Muppets in EPCOT like the restaurant or the mobile Muppet Labs, but they shouldn't "move" to EPCOT.

MK Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I do wish they were going with Facillier for the lift hill, but I think it'll still be intense for anyone who's already scared of the drop.

EPCOT Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

That's fine but I don't want them moving their "home" to another park.

MK Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

No one under the age of 6 was scared of Brer Fox. Hell, even younger kids who've seen a Wile E Coyote or Sylvester cartoon wouldn't have been scared of him lol This isn't Haunted Mansion, Dinosaur or Tower, nothing about Splash's story elements were scary. The scary thing was that you'd know...

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Well themed sets, a good amount of animatronics & some of the good music from the movie. Limit the usage of screens. That's what they need to do to live up to Splash.
