It can be 30 degrees in Dec/Jan/Feb in Orlando sometimes and QUITE cold. So yeah, it'll happen too.

Since no one else would do it, I took some photos myself. The auditorium I was in wasn't upgraded yet, but here are some of the lobby, restrooms, and corridors. I think it looks really nice. I wish I had been in an upgraded auditorium. Someone else take pictures of that, please! :) LOBBY...

This is quite different than what you originally said. Tearing down an entire building is not the same as removing theatrical equipment in a theatre. I still even doubt the contract says the theatre has to be retrofitted because it'd have to be anyways, so no need to require it in a contract...

This has happened before. Cirque leaves resident theatres, even custom built for them and other shows take them over. In Macau, their Zaia show had a theatre custom built for them inside the Venetian. Cirque left and the theatre now is a general purpose theatre but looks almost exactly the same...

Is there not a fence around the whole station? It's hard to tell from the photos if there's a final fence, or just the construction fence.

I don't know that the location is finalized yet. If you look through the I4 Beyond the Ultimate drawings on the FDOT website, you can find a sheet that shows the rail right of way and also the "Disney HSR Station" as it's labeled on the drawings. It's further South by the Mickey Ear power stanchion.

I was half expecting an improved bag search and X-ray experience. Ya know, like when security areas at airports are designed as new instead of retrofits. Maybe it’s hard to tell from the pictures, but it still just looks like tables and plopped down X-ray machines. Opportunity lost I guess.
