I was tring to remember, there was a carousel or something that was the ending of the old MSEP before the "Salute to America" float debuted... does any one remeber that, or what was the ending before the StA Float?

I'm just glad I was able to validate your memories... I can remember from time to time they would add different units into the parade... One I can remember that was only there a short time was "The Fox and the Hound" unit, it was 2 oldtime cars/trucks made out of lights with the fox in the back...

one of the floats in Spectro Magic is modeled after the It's a Small World Float... the carousel float... in the MSEP the float had two rings of dancing dolls rotating around the float... anyone have a picture of it???

I have been in MK first thing in the morning and have had the chance to see several of the characters just playing in the park.. I got a great pic of chip and dale on the boardwalk next to the Rivers of America, and I got a picture of Mickey and Minnie together on the bridge over Splash...

I think there is enough bitterness there for more than 1...

I'm not sure when this path was built, but I can remember there used to be some large berms and landscaping back there that hid the view of the train from the auto-topia(sp)... but once I discovered that path it was the best thing I ever found... it is a great short cut from the train station to...

I agree that to totally redo this ride would not be cost effective or practical... while it may not still be true, I talked to one of the designers of Splash Mountain many years ago and at that time they were talking about redoing the track and layout in Space Mountain, but to many peoples...
