Pet Peeve parents who take their kids to the parks in pajamas

I'm not sure how much the pockets help with bag check. I've seen them more than once make people empty their pockets when going thru the bagless check line. Maybe they only do that when they are really bored?

Pet Peeve parents who take their kids to the parks in pajamas

It is not a bad example. If you have leggings on your shirt should cover your rear at all times. There is no way the shirt in the picture does that. We have to explain that same thing to all of the teenagers at work. Time after time after time. If you can't go about your business without...

    Swan and Dolphin look outdated?

You see the right end of the Swan, along the side with that tiny palm tree? Second floor up? That was my room. Great view!

Just Back and a few complaints

And yet, you were not permanently scarred from having to play with them away from your family, were you?

Just Back and a few complaints

I honestly have not seen them anywhere but at Disney World. I think it takes an extremely lazy, self obsessed person to not care at all about how what they are doing impacts others. Especially in a place where the other people are not able to easily move away from you. Apparently it is sooo...

    Swan and Dolphin look outdated?

I think they are very nice to look at. A bit over the top, but that isn't always a bad thing.

Just Back and a few complaints

I'm firmly in the crowd that you can be courteous to others, even at Disney World. Bubbles don't bother me that much, unless they pop on my glasses. Doesn't mean I think it is ok to blow them in crowds where others can't escape them if they want to. Just like I wouldn't use one of those...

Deluxe Hotel, what are you really getting?

I know when I have paid for a water view at CSR it gets me closer to the walking paths, and nearer the main buildings. For me, that is why the upgrade is worth it, not because I want to stare at the pond all day.

Just Back and a few complaints

So by that you mean we should just all be inconsiderate so and so's??? Maybe I should bring along a super soaker and have the kids use that in line? After all, it is just a toy and it is just water, no big deal, right? As long as they are entertained and not screaming, why bother looking for...

    Garden Grill for Breakfast?

My family really liked our breakfast at the Garden Grill. The food was very good, and the characters spent a lot of time with us. I've got it booked again for our trip this fall.:D

Just Back and a few complaints

Oh my, seriously? There is no other way to keep a kid from screaming???? Never mind that rewarding bad behavior with a toy is never a good idea.

Currently booked at Pop Century, are the Disney Springs hotels just as good?

I think your gut feeling is right, the bus service from the Disney Springs resorts is not up to par with Disney transportation. Especially if you plan on taking breaks each day. Stick with the Pop. Or if you want to save a little more, book an All Star. I like all Disney values.

WDW Food Pictures Of The Day Part II

I am so sad they are taking this off of the menu.

    October 2019 no availability

Disney is saying Late Fall for the opening.

Which was better the old Good Turn/Land Grill or the current Garden Grill Character Meal

I liked a previous character dinner, where they had flank steak, chicken, and fish. Now I stick to breakfast as the dinner meal holds no appeal.

Does cost affect your enjoyment of your meal?

I budget for my meals just like I budget for the whole trip. I look at menus ahead of time, get an idea of what a meal would cost, and come up with a rough number. So no, cost doesn't bother me.

Would you prefer a larger shower and no tub?

Bromine and Chlorine--either of those things ring a bell?;)

Would you prefer a larger shower and no tub?

I'd rather shower. Even when I take a tub bath at home I scrub out the tub beforehand.

Anyone else annoyed by the ropes and nets all along the waters edge at all the beach front resorts?

There were not that many alligators around back then. They have made a great comeback. I miss seeing the water hit the beach too. But I give Disney credit for putting up barriers that look decent.

    Moderate/Value Resort Thoughts...

I agree with Darth Vader. For going to Epcot and the Studios you can't beat being somewhere on the boardwalk. You have a year to save up for it, so I would go for any resort in that area. If you still don't want to spring for a deluxe, POR is a great resort and very close to Epcot.
