I would probably pic the Contemporary. The pool is very well themed, and has a nice slide. And none of the value resorts have pool slides. Plus there is Chef Mickey's, which would be great if you can score an ADR. The Contemporary definitely feels Disney.

POR has some rooms with a fold down bed. POFQ does not.

I could never visit the parks without a bag. The only thing I may put in a pocket is my chapstick. I'm to afraid I'd lose whatever I put in my pockets.

Anyone can ride the monorail to the parks. And both the monorail and boat service off site guests from the TTC.

See for me, if you are not standing waiting near where they bus stops to pick up guests, you are not in any sort of line. No one arriving after you has any idea what bus you are waiting for. Nor should we be expected to keep track of who was there before and after us. I'm too busy visiting...

You are paying that $1000 a night for the resort and the resort alone. It has nothing to do with where your bus stop may be, or where it may drop you off. Paying more for your resort does not earn you special perks at the parks.

I bounce around all of the resort categories, depending on what I am doing that stay. If I am going to be heavy in the parks I will stay value. My next few stays I'm planing on staying at deluxe resorts, for ease of getting to Epcot at the Magic Kingdom.

They have done that before, and I thought it made everything flow much more smoothly. Wonder why they stopped?

I'd pick a value over a Disney Springs resort any day. Not because of the rooms, but because of location and transportation. Most of the time I'm not at Disney World to hang out at my resort. I'm there to see the parks and spend a little time at my resort. I also love the Disney food courts.
