I just chatted with them to modify my hotel reservations. They essentially said, you have to pick TBA or Tron or buy ILL/G+ if you want to ride both. While also saying neither are guaranteed (which I already know). But also said the standby queue will come shortly after the opening but no date...

So they are really going to have 2 VQ's at the same time? So you can only ride one or the other if you opt not to do G+? Is this the confirmed plan? Or is something else planned for both VQ's?

Wait so they will have VQ only for a few days? That doesn't sound right. Tron still has VQ and that's been open a year.

Not without completely dismantling the mountain, I don't think. It isn't like Everest where the coaster and mountain are separate structures. It's all one unit.

Honestly every time I've tried to get 7am slot it has never prevailed. I've tried all the tricks. Always managed to snag a 1pm tho. But probably not this time. I'll have a better chance snagging an ILL for $50 - since I'll be at the resorts.
