Let's be clear this ride wasn't just deemed problematic a year and a half ago...it was met with concern when it opened over 30 years ago and the source material movie has been a problem ever since it was released 75 years ago.

ToonTown Fair felt pretty cheap and tacky...I guess that's an easy theme, kinda like boardwalk for Paradise/Pixar Pier. Isn't it literally MICKEY'S Toontown...not Roger Rabbit's?... Roger Rabbit is pretty unknown to kids, was never kid friendly, and should just go away at this point.

If the topic of Splash Mountain brings up this much discord on racism then there is obviously a race related problem with the attraction.

The new Splash Mountain doesn't even have to be a mountain. Isn't it Chickapin Hill currently? That's probably a dialect form of Chinquapin and to many the dialects of Song of the South are a big part of the problem. People with the argument ~ThErEs nO mOuNtAinS iN NoLa~ are just tiring...

I think we're rightfully so moving away from Roger Rabbit's influence on Toon Town even if his ride stays. Someone compared the ride to Mr. Toad. If Roger is replaced I think Huey, Dewie, and Louie could be fun, and Ducktales became more popular again. Side note, I love how any added *land*...

The concept of a path connecting Toontown and StarWarsTown could be a good way to see how it could work if Disneyland Forward actually intends to have new lands and expansions outside of the berm.

I wonder what might change other than the Mickey fountain to have the land match the newer cracked out Mickey and gang design...it will be pretty weird if there is 80s/90s Mickey along with this new design in the ride. Even the meet and greet characters don't match.

Of course Toad would fit well in the UK pavilion but that's never going to happen. They could have moved him there when he closed at MK but instead they buried him in the Haunted Mansion pet cemetary 👻
