    I can't wait to try...

I am suddenly so excited to try the Grey Stuff. It's delicious! Don't believe me? Ask the dishes.

    Anniversary Dinner Plans & Tranpartation

You are going to have to allow some time for this, but I would take a bus to DHS and then take the boat from there to Epcot. That will put you right at the International Gateway entrance. Boat rides are definitely more romantic than buses. If you end up being really early, you could spend...

    Military Discount Questions

You do not have to have the military member with you to use the tickets. They work just like normal park tickets. Unless things have changed, you will not be able to buy the dining plan with those tickets. I met up with my mom and her friend in WDW back in 2009. They got a hotel/ticket...

    Favorite Memories from each park???

MK - Watching my husband holding our 3 month old daughter in her Rapunzel princess dress for her very first MK opening. She is now a 3rd generation WDW vacationer. Epcot - Getting to be in the play at the UK pavilion when I was about 8 or 9 years old. That was 26 years ago, and they are...

One Night Alone with my wife....

We did this last year when we were down there. We started the night in the World Showcase, and then took the monorail to the Polynesian (we've seen Illuminations plenty of times). We got some fruity drinks from the pool bar and sat on the beach to watch the MK fireworks and the Electric Water...

    Cocktails around the World

Love this suggestion! When we were drinking around the world, we asked and found out that the Norwegian beer is actually Danish beer. The shot was the one thing that the bar-cart-tender said was actually Norwegian. It was not very delicious, and it would have been really nice to have a...

How bad will it be for me w/o 180d ADRs?

Consider doing table service meals for lunch. When I went for NYE, I didn't do any ADRs until the beginning of December. I thought everything would be full, but a lot of the restaurants had availability during lunch. I was even able to get the Fantasmic and the Candelight Processional dining...

    What do I Tell Him?

If he is going in September, he won't have any problem with reservations (aside from Le Cellier and BoG), especially if he is flexible enough to eat a table service meal for lunch. I have been going with my family for the past several years in September, and I always end up making our...

    Yikes, The Stroller...

We took a stroller for my 3-month old when we went last September. We couldn't rent one, because she was too small. I am so glad that we took it!!!! She took tons of naps in there. My favorite napping location was out in front of Dinosaur at the AK near the restrooms. There are some shady...

    Love Is In The Air!

I have two. The first is anywhere at Dixie Landings, which is what I will always call it. The pool, the food court, riding bikes through the grounds. All of it takes me straight back to my adolesence. The first time I can remember really noticing boys at Disney was on Old Man Island. Ah...

    First time at Disney!

If it is your first time at Disney World, forget all of the restaurants in Epcot. You can find all of those kinds of food in any big city. My recommendations are not the greatest food you can get, but they are the most disney-fied experiences. #1 should be Cinderella's Royal Table. You get...

Which should we choose for our first Deluxe resort?

I just took a trip with a stroller-aged child. She wasn't big enough for the rental strollers at the parks, so we had to haul one around with us. I am guessing you will be in the same boat. Based on that, I would recommend the Yacht and Beach Clubs or the Polynesian. We liked the atmosphere...

I'm stuck on WL and thinking about a change!

I have stayed in every resort except Saratoga Springs at this point, and the WL is also my favorite. Very close seconds are the Beach Club and the Boardwalk. I would highly recommend both of those if you are looking for a change. You still get the music, the smell (kind of aloe-ish), and the...

So my wife and I are going next month for an adult only trip (want suggestions)

My husband and I spent a lot of time lounging on top of the rental shack/pool bar building at the Beach Club. There was a nice area up there, and a nice waiter that kept delivering a local beer.

Top pick for TS in Epcot.

Tokyo Dining for me, with the Biergarten being a close second. My husband and I are both sushi fans, and it is excellent at Tokyo Dining. They have great bento boxes as well. We also love the Biergarten, but you have to make sure you will be there for the show. We actually went there on our...

    Magical express questions

Definitely do the magical express. We did have a lost luggage issue once, but it was a pretty unusal circumstance. My family decided to come in a day earlier than our original reservation. We ended up staying at POR before transferring to the WL the next day. My brother and sister-in-law's...

Nervous! Booked a flight for the first time!

I fly all the time. Don't let these posts scare you. Getting through security is no big deal. You will have to take off your shoes, and laptops need to be pulled out of the bag and put in a separate bin. All other electronics can stay in your bag. You can take any kind of food/gum/candy you...

    Dining opinions, please

We went for years without going to the Biergarten, because my brother claimed he couldn't stand the smell of sauerkraut. What a waste! That place is awesome and has the added benefit of the dinner show. Restaurant Marrakesh was another nice surprise, and it was fun to watch the belly dancer...

I NEED to Go Back to Disney World!! #DisneySick

I listen to the park CDs in the car, make food from the Disney cookbook, and slightly obsess about reading wdwmagic and the forums. I also set up a wish list on my DVR to tape any documentaries that have the word Disney in the description. They pop up on the Travel Channel all the time.
