ThemeParkOne- who is it? Real insider or fraud?

@Yeti - That there's some funny stuff, I don't care who you are! Regarding TPO (he's already gotten his own initials), let's hold out hope. After all, what's the worst that could happen, his prognostications don't come true? If they do, then that's fantastic!

    History of WDWMagic

Just posted a message on the 15th Anniversary thread (congrats again!), and I was just wondering...is there a wiki or a blog somewhere on the site that provides a history of WDWMagic? I looked around a little, but didn't see anything. I would love to know what goes into building a site such as...

WDWMAGIC 15 Year Anniversary Guest Book

I'm still a newbie, but I look forward to your website bringing me a little Disney magic every day! Thanks to your news and forums, I'm a much more educated, enthusiastic and (for park visits) prepared fan that I was just a few months ago. Thanks for all of your hard work!!!

    Is this possible?

Uh, why would someone leave an old refrigerator?

Do the forums ever ruin your Disney experience

I am one of those every-two-year kind of visitors, and a relatively recent Disney nerd, so I truly enjoy reading the various posts and living vicariously through others' experiences that are posted on the site. I've realized that the learning curve is steep if you want to truly participate in...

TEA- 2010 Theme Park Attendance Figures

Thank you for the great analysis. Dumb question - never having been to DL myself, given the apparent higher density of visitors due to the smaller footprint, it seems like DL would be elbow-to-elbow 24/7. Is this the case?

Which moments do you look forward to most on your Disney visit?

Walking into MK is definitely at the top of my list, but my 1a is eating at Tony's. Now, before everyone starts bashing Tony's, I have a reason - my wife and I started a tradition on our honeymoon. We took a picture in front of the fountain in the restaurant and, every time we go we take...

    Monorail enhancements coming soon?

Maybe this is how they plan to occupy passengers' time when waiting for the monorail in front of theirs to get going again when there's a delay...seems to be happening more often. LOL! Doesn't that just get stuck in your head like a bad song??

TEA- 2010 Theme Park Attendance Figures

I think that having stagnant growth for 2010 should be chalked up to a success, given the state of not only the U.S.'s economy, but Europe's as well (re: UK visitors). That said, I'm sure that WDW's revenue per visitor must have suffered due to all of the discounts required to keep the...

    Where do Disneyphiles work?

Great thread! I'm surprised that there are not more people from south Louisiana, since lots of locals head to the World during Mardi Gras. Anyway, I'm a CPA and have my own practice.

    Opinions on split reservations?

I've noticed a number of folks in the forum that split reservations between two resorts. I've never done this myself, so I was wondering: what's the specific reason you decided to do it, and did you think it was worth it afterwards?

    How Long Is Too Long?

If it's strictly WDW, I'd say 2 1/2 to 3 weeks in order to do enjoy everything the World has to offer at a leisurely pace. If we're going offsite as well, I'd say a solid month. Oh, and I'd do it in November when the weather's great and the Christmas decorations go up!

HGTV's new series "My Yard Goes Disney,"

I agree. Great potential, but not the best production. I hope that they spend more time showing how to build that bamboo gym set in an upcoming episode than they did in the construction segments on the first show. With a DD on the way, it's time for some renovations to ours!

A Very Magical Easter Trip Report

I stumbled across WDWMagic during my family’s preparations for our recent trip to the World during Easter. After pouring over various parts of the site I found the trip reports. I enjoyed, just about on a daily basis, living vicariously through the various members’ stories. And so, now with...

    April 2012 crowds

I agree. We arrived on the Saturday before Easter and left the following Thursday, and I don't think we waited longer than 20 minutes for anything (strategically using FP, of course). All of the reading I'd done prior to the trip indicated that the crowds were supposed to be some of the worst...

What airline do you fly with to go to WDW?

In my experience flying out of New Orleans, Southwest is most often if not always, the least expensive and only nonstop flight to Orlando.

    I've Been Sucked In !!

Don't know if this works for you, but on our last trip I entered all of our activities into my Blackberry calendar. Didn't do it for the rides, but for ADR's, shows, EMH, etc., I found that it worked pretty well!

New announcement.. "the year of we ain"t doing nothing.."

LOL...I'm all for it if the riders can shoot back! In an enterprise such as this, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Many posters have already listed the abundance of projects in the works at WDW. And won't this be the last installment of the HP series? I personally am curious to see what...
