Great thread! I'm surprised that there are not more people from south Louisiana, since lots of locals head to the World during Mardi Gras. Anyway, I'm a CPA and have my own practice.

I've noticed a number of folks in the forum that split reservations between two resorts. I've never done this myself, so I was wondering: what's the specific reason you decided to do it, and did you think it was worth it afterwards?

If it's strictly WDW, I'd say 2 1/2 to 3 weeks in order to do enjoy everything the World has to offer at a leisurely pace. If we're going offsite as well, I'd say a solid month. Oh, and I'd do it in November when the weather's great and the Christmas decorations go up!

I agree. Great potential, but not the best production. I hope that they spend more time showing how to build that bamboo gym set in an upcoming episode than they did in the construction segments on the first show. With a DD on the way, it's time for some renovations to ours!

In my experience flying out of New Orleans, Southwest is most often if not always, the least expensive and only nonstop flight to Orlando.

Don't know if this works for you, but on our last trip I entered all of our activities into my Blackberry calendar. Didn't do it for the rides, but for ADR's, shows, EMH, etc., I found that it worked pretty well!
