It's a pretty steep drop from that wall to the road which is why I assume they kept it standing.

I think the state is to blame quite a bit for that as they never gave tax incentives that were enough for people to want to choose Orlando over Hollywood at the time.

That 'tin can' is pretty damn sexy. You just can't see it with the giant canopy and outdoor track uglying things up.

They use scanners at Universal and the process is flawless. Not even joking, the process takes about 10 second total from bag in to grabbing your bag on the other end. And it's a constantly moving thing, too. The fact that Disney still doesn't have scanners is ridiculous imo.

So remember when we has that conversation about cars using that backstage road (which will be closed to anything other than guest traffic once SW:GE opens) and some people chimed in and said "...well, they don't really use that road during the day anyway"? In one of Bio's latest aerial's, I see...

It doesn't cross over a canal, it crosses over an actual road, much like the way Seven Seas Lagoon connects to Bay Lake.
