    C'mon Disney

Anyone can have a good time at WDW... ... with lowered expectations.

So why weren't there many strollers back in the day?

Glad that worked for you. I’m not about to walk all the way back to a static spot to get something if I can wheel around with me. Now I do agree with car seats. 👍

So why weren't there many strollers back in the day?

Healthier? Maybe. But my kids can walk the other 51 weeks of the year. At WDW we don’t like to tour at a speed dictated by the slowest walkers.

So why weren't there many strollers back in the day?

This is me! I love my stroller. I won’t apologize for it. I love being able to take as much as I *might* need. Strollers have so many bells and whistles and are lightweight. I can easily put 8 ponchos and four princess dresses in the bottom for just-in-case. I remember my 2007 trip where I...

    WDW Crowd Talk

Firstly, TP has always been, and still is, a class act. Secondly, thank you for explaining this here so articulately.

    Status of SDFP

If I walked into MK today with my MB from last year could I walk up to a kiosk and reserve three FP+ on them like I did with borrowed MB last year?

The Chit Chat Chit Chat Thread

My friend bought me some Starbucks Kenyan medium roast coffee as a thank you and it's amazing. It's the first Starbucks I've ever had. It's so good.

    FEBRUARY Never Again!!!!!!!!!

What if you're not having fun because you are doing far fewer attractions than you did at the same the year before, or the year before that? Some of the onus falls on the guest, but access to attractions plays a giant part. Yes. Attitude counts for something. But the best attitude in the...

    Zootopia characters confirmed

Agreed. This M&G is almost a year too late. Why is WDW so behind - oh - wait.

    Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

That is great. The whole thing is so variable depending on the "friends" and their individual styles. We've mostly had excellent character exchanges, at meals and otherwise.

    Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

We've dined there for pre-park open breakfast once and lunch once. Food was mediocre, but far from awful. Lunch was better, but ate up park time. They had people crammed in and navigating around wasn't simple. Our service was good. Some princesses more outgoing than others, but that's always the...

    FEBRUARY Never Again!!!!!!!!!

Presidents week is always busy at WDW, as well as the weeks before and after. I'm sorry this was a surprise to you. It's generally well known.

Why is the MDE app still so terrible?

Moldy, uncooked hamburger? Have you been eating at ABC Commissary?
  14. Rebel_

Why is the MDE app still so terrible?

No offense, OP, but are you sure your expectations are appropriately set? Like, what percentage of the time do you expect the product to work? Should it be online more than, say Test Track? Should it rollout as seamlessly as RoL did? What I'm asking is have you accepted any responsibility in...

    Touring Plans

I have always loved TouringPlans; however, I found them, sadly, not to be as relevant this past trip. I love their guides and buy a new one each trip. That being said, it wasn't my go-to most recently. I'm not sure who we can and can not endorse on this board, but there is a certain pirate...

What are some "Traditions" Your Family has when you go on a Disney Vacation?

Enh - the only thing we do consistently is get up 180 days in advance to grab pre-open ADR's. After that it's a new experience each trip.

All Parks Opening Early like MK

It's been this way a while at DAK. They moved us in up near Tree of Life/Pizzafari last May.

Possible Attraction in France pavilion (Epcot) Update - new Attraction Greenlit

It'll be all fun and games until the magic bands from riders on the cross-over trigger messages for the Ratatouille pax.

WDW Resort Big Plans & Projects Before the 50th

I'd love to see a newer film in Philharmagic. It's entering the CoP zone IMO. There's a fine line between nostalgic and old. Maybe it's how much Kool-Aid you drink that helps the distinction??
