We just a bought the Sun Pass several years ago. We go frequently enough that it makes it one less thing we have to worry about. I can put $10 on it and will last the entire trip, and still have a bit left over. I bought the pass mainly to save time when we are so close to the finish.

Tower of Terror, people screaming, people laughing, lots of gasps, it has something for everyone. When you get off, it seems that everyone has had a great time, plus I've had some great CM interactions.

Depending on which park and closing time if it's not late I'll stop by the bar and have a beer. If it's later just back to the room with my wife. Sometimes she will join me, sometimes not. Sometimes we do make the hot tub, but mostly we end up in the room, and reset for the next day.

Illuminations is at closing almost always. If the park closes at 9pm that's when Illuminations will be. During the time of the Candle Light Processional before Christmas it's at 9:30. As others have said the other shows are a varying times depending on closing and such.

I also would at least think about heading over to MK. Going from FW it's a nice boat ride over to the park and would be a nice way to spend the first night. The cost of adding an extra day to your tickets would be about $15 or so to each ticket. I've not been to AK since the new night time...

Drove the family down from Atlanta area about 10 years ago for a 1 day trip. We checked in late Friday night, to a offsite hotel, got up hit AK, then MK that night. Got up Sunday went home, it was great.

Well we have several of the gray ones, still on the cardboard. We got to just keeping them in the Disney pack between trips, and a spare set of the gray ones.

As the water parks are already included in your tickets, I would go for afternoon or two as its already paid for. I know that when we have spent the day at the water park, it really drained us. Make sure to use sunscreen as where you put on for the parks, may not get everywhere in the water...
