    Rides That Broke Down

Test Track. My son and I were riding and it was his first time. He was already a little scared by the inside part, but then we got stuck for 5-10 minutes on the fastest highest banked portion of the turn outside. We got back in and the CM said they were going to send us all back through to...

    Rides That Broke Down

It's a Small World. Many Many times. THough it's usually not a breakdown, just a log jam. And yes, I do have nightmares.

New to DSLR, What's a Good 2nd Lens for WDW?

Yeah if you like wide angle stuff or landscapes or what have you I loved the Tokina. I rented it and it made me want to buy it. 35mm is great too. Just know that at 1.8 your focal plane is razor thin if you're very close to your subject.

New to DSLR, What's a Good 2nd Lens for WDW?

When I was camera shopping I brought along a memory card and did a ton of test shots with different lenses and cameras. Then I brought the card home and looked over the pics.

New to DSLR, What's a Good 2nd Lens for WDW?

I LOVE my 35mm 1.8 Nikon lens. Takes beautiful pictures. I used it on all the indoor rides last trip. It's a little tight on an APS-C (I also have a d3200) but overall I was real happy with it. I was not happy overall with the results I got from my 18-55 non-VR. I've used the Tokina 11-16...

Best place for pictures in front of the Castle with no obstructions

Good question. You couldn't at Christmas time. That was my most recent visit.

Best place for pictures in front of the Castle with no obstructions

I really like this view from the bridge by Sleepy Hollow. The view from Hub to tomorrowland is nice too though. Disney-0357-2 by Kyle Metcalf, on Flickr

The Big Toss At Living With The Land

I'll almost guarantee you that disney loses and spends more money to get the money out than what they eventually donate to charity. I'm all for supporting good charities. Just seems there's a better way to do it. Maybe a wishing well near the ride or something or something like that.

    Better Body or Better Glass?

I've decided on lenses. But yes when I upgrade the body it will likely be the 7200. I was debating between the 7100 and lenses, and decided on lenses.

The Big Toss At Living With The Land

I don't understand the tossing of the coins thing on any ride. That spare change just weighing people down too much? Just means someone has to go in and clean it out periodically.

    Better Body or Better Glass?

Yeah I realize that it won't perform as well as a prime or constant aperture. But budget is a concern, and I like the flexibility of the zoom. I've actually used this one previously and liked how it performed on my camera and for the shots I typically take. I read tons of reviews, mostly...

    Better Body or Better Glass?

Yeah it's not just Disney. My last trip I used the 18-55 non-vr and a Nikon 35 1.8. I think I've decided to get the Sigma 17-70 2.8-4 to replace my 18-55. Anyone else used that lens?

Honestly, how bad is the Green Line for Mission:Space?

You should feel fine, you don't move much really. If you do start to feel queasy just close your eyes or look down at your feet.

    Are the parks getting dirtier?

As has been stated blame it on trashy guests. Too many people are too lazy and selfish to burden themselves with the task of putting their trash in a trash can. This problem crosses cultures, ages, races, socio-economic backgrounds, etc. People are just more lazy and selfish than they used to...

    Better Body or Better Glass?

I've rented the Tokina 11-16 which I really liked, but would only serve a small portion of what I like to shoot. I've used a buddy's Sigma 17-70 2.8-4 and really liked it. Considering that as my replacement to the 18-55. I've also used the Nikkor 70-300 VRii 4.5-5.6G AF-S. This would replace...

    Better Body or Better Glass?

I shoot raw and process in lightroom, and occasionally using various programs from Nik software. The camera does make good images. There's just additional items that I'd like to be able to do, and the 18-55 Non-VR kit that came with it is just a very limiting lens to me. And in my opinion is...

    Better Body or Better Glass?

Thanks. I think I've decided to go with better glass first. I've been pretty satisfied with pics taken with good lenses. So I think I'll enjoy the better glass more than the better body features. I can still get what I want out of the camera, just a few extra hoops to jump through to get...

    Better Body or Better Glass?

I know the general rule is better glass, but looking for as many opinions as I can get. I bought a D3200 a year ago to get my feet wet and determine if this was a hobby I wanted to pursue without breaking the bank too much. I've definitely outgrown this body and its capabilities. I've rented...
