Hmmm. You bring up a potentially good point. Even in Monsters Unchained Victoria Frankenstein and her Monster are seemingly the “good guys.” “You are the hero” is likely what Disney will go with. Now the question is will we thwart the Villains or merely escape them?
It’s also not just about the ride vehicle. Monsters will apparently employ some tricks we haven’t seen since Alien Encounter.
Like I said, Villains shouldn’t go that far but I feel like the main non coaster E Ticket might not go far enough.
Yes but that wasn’t the point I was making lol
I’m talking about intensity level. Villains Land shouldn’t be straight up scary like Dark Universe but I feel like Disney could still end up undershooting what a Villains ride should be.
Going back to that original point I think everyone here can agree that Villains shouldn’t be as intense as Dark Universe is being advertised as.
My fear is that even with that being the case Disney still won’t hit the bar that they should with this but I’d be glad to be proven wrong.
Also...
It will be. You’ll see crowds to CityWalk again for that one.
There’s no complaint here when a bad attraction is replaced. We’re all practically BEGGING for an update to Figment as one example. No one is complaining that Test Track 2.0 is no more.
I would absolutely love that 😍
I’d add in Zelda in IoA replacing Lost Continent but other than that yes USF should get ALL of the love it can. It’s funny how we can have the best resort overall but quite possibly the weakest Universal Studios.
It’ll be great for sure but at this point I...
Well the way you worded that post made it sound like you didn’t like anything post Diagon so I apologize if that wasn’t your intent.
Well one of the first expansions post opening is supposedly Luigi’s Mansion so there you go.
Kong (before they removed the 3D), Hagrid, and Velocicoaster say hello?
The additions to USF have been lackluster since Diagon though outside of Bourne.
I’m referring to the fact that the UK itself has only ever had regional type parks and Universal is the first to give them a true theme park that they can just drive to. In a way it is an untapped market for the big companies.
Dude two of the Monsters that are being used have been around for well over 100 years even before Universal made movies about them and are staples of pop culture. Stories of Werewolves go back even further. Creature from the Black Lagoon as far as I can tell did start with the movie but he’s...
I can only think of Dragons as somewhat questionable. The other 3 have more than proven their worth.
Yes USF is basically their Epcot that’s in need of a big makeover. It’s easily their weakest park by a mile. IoA not really as much since what it does have is almost all really good.
Concord and Firewalk are dead.

Not only that, they partially blame the failure on Concord being a new IP.
