    Attraction Manuals/Cast Member Study Guides

I know of one from DL's Haunted Mansion from 1975. A bit outdated, but voila: http://www.doombuggies.com/secrets_sop.php If anyone cares to share something more recent, please do!

    Outdated colors/graphics/signage TTC and buses

I hardly ever go to the TTC, so maybe someone who does can fill me in-- other than its ugliness, what makes it dysfunctional?

Was just there a few hours ago-- nope. They are very friendly though.

A look at the Magic Kingdom guide map - minus Mickey's Toontown Fai

Disney workers to protest contract talks

Uh, no. We have a marginal tax system. As you enter the next tax bracket, only the income above the limit of the first bracket is taxed at the higher rate.

    Mousetrapped 2010

Disney's profit for the trailing 12 months was $3.96 billion. An extra $28 million a year would be well under 1%, and even less when you account for their tax savings. So an extra 50 cents an hour would not be material to their financials.

Wow - Disney is really cutting back

It continues to amaze me that Disney seems intent on making it as hard as possible to give them money.

This "system upgrade" is starting to tick me off

I can hardly say I'm surprised. Disney's IT systems have been a disaster for years, and it seems clear that they haven't exactly learned anything from that yet.

    Fantasmic and wishes?

If you're able to get out of Fantasmic quickly (which can be difficult), I think it's plausible. I'd take the bus to the Contemporary and then walk over to the MK.

    Harry Potter....and it looks amazing

I think that's true. But keep in mind that WDW has spent the last 5-7 years focused on keeping guests on property for their entire trips-- that was the point of Magical Express and MyW tickets. Universal now has a "killer app" that is going to attract people off-property for the first time...

    New Bus Driver Costumes

They remind me a little of the ToT bellhop costumes. In any case, I'll miss the purple pants!

Michael Colglazier named as new Vice President of Disney's Animal Kingdom

I really doubt it. He's going from a VP position to SVP.

    ticket options

They're designed that way. When MYW first came out in 2005, the no expiration charges for long tickets were quite reasonable. So my family bought some 10-day hoppers with no expiration and used them on a few trips-- creating a relatively inexpensive per-day cost over a long period of time...
