We did all character meals except Cape May. We had to eat & this kept us from standing in lines for hours in 90 degree weather to get autographs.

We thought Cookes of Dublin was good.

I planned our first family WDW trip for two years! 1. I ranked character meals & made ADR's at 180 days in the order of rank. 2. I chose which parks for the days by where the ADR's were on those days. 3. I made a laminated list of CS restaurants (lunch), all rides DD could ride, ride...

We were not immediately charged on our June 2010 trip. I went to the front desk every couple of days & paid down the balance with Disney Dollars, Disney Gift Cards, & Cash. Anything we purchased on our last day was charged to the credit card.

We have a ten hour drive. We stopped in Macon, GA both coming & going. We stayed at a Country Inn & Suites, beside Carrabba's, our favorite place to eat! Easy to find, near lots of restaurants, seemed safe. I think we will try to drive farther down next time---maybe Valdosta, or get on into...

We put all of these are in Disney scrapbook: KTTW cards, napkins, paper coasters from the resort room, Mickey head confetti from dinner at Tony's, paperwork from the hotel, our piece of the "golden ticket" to get into Fantasmic

1986; 13 years old; probably was the tea cups---I have a picture and there are at least six of us (four kids & two moms) in that cup! My little brother was probably in there too, but I don't remember. The dads must have sat that ride out. I'll have to get my scrapbook out again!

DD turned five just before our one & only (so far!) family trip to WDW. We told her ahead of time, but didn't give out lots of information. We watched the WDW planning video many, many times! I showed her some rides & shows online so that she would be prepared for some dark and/or shaky...

I knew I was finally there when I was looking out the window of our CR CL TPV room & I was calling Mom to tell her that I was calling her while looking at Cinderella's Castle.

It's my escape from the "real world". I'll deal with how much it costs me to be there when the vacation is over and I'm back in the "real world"!

DH & I had just exited Tusker House breakfast with DD, age 5. We turned around & she was gone! We quickly looked around & she had just walked over to a performance of some kind that was going on near us. I'm glad there wasn't a large crowd at that time of the morning, or true panic would have...
