    Disney Store ??

Unfortunately that one closed as well. That was the one I typically shopped at too. I'm a transplant from Muncie. Does that count?

    Disney Store ??

I am quite excited to see a change in the merchandise that is offered online. I think it will go a long way towards improving the quality and variety offered online. I always found the online store, and even the Disney Stores, to be lacking in some ways. Also, I have always had trips where...

    Any one find it funny...

As far back as I can remember, Epcot has been my favorite. I am a geek. I definitely think the phenomenon the OP pointed out is most common, though.

does UoE need to be more relevant?

Bill Nye will always be relevant. And if it is changed, the subject matter should definitely stay on the lighter side. It is a theme park, after all, where people go to have fun. There's enough worries outside of the theme park regarding petroleum and gas prices. I definitely don't want to...

    Mission:Space : Flop?

See how it would affect the rider? Many do not even realize they are spinning. Most are barely affected by it at all. Having personally been yelled at by guests because I "lied" to them when I said the ride spun for the entire experience, that's a good indication the ride is pretty "in tune"...

The American Idol Experience logo unveiled

I am wondering if the distaste for this attraction would be as pronounced if it didn't have the AI branding on it, as opposed to some sort of Mickey Mouse Club branding or something like that. As far as taking time out of your day for participants, won't it be similar to the Fear Factor show...

    Mission:Space : Flop?

I'd say it's pretty harsh to say it's a flop. It may have underperformed from initial expectations. I would definitely say that UoE or Imagination run with more empty seats than M:S ever does. Also, it may be questionable to base its success solely on wait times. I would say the wait times...

List of former and current CP/PI CMs

CP for Spring Advantage '05. Started as role hopper in Epcot (Merchandise, Custodial, QSR trained). Worked in at least 15 different locations in Epcot, and a few outside of the park (TL, WWoS) over the course of 3-4 months. Was then transferred to Mission: Space (Operations) for the remainder...

Disney History Buffs, Prepare to Drool! New book series!

They probably will do that once the whole series is out, but add some "extras," just like any boxed set should!

    American Idol's Jordin Sparks......

In his defense, he did say "theme park experience," although there was an unusually long pause between the word "park" and "experience."

Disney History Buffs, Prepare to Drool! New book series!

Sounds like a cool series. I would assume by the information given it will only be available at the parks? So not online or at Disney Stores? It will be interesting to see how much they cost, as 24 pages is not a whole lot of material.

    Does Epcot Need Saving?

One of the primary cast member cafeterias takes up a good portion of that building. This may have changed since I was there, but it was also a deployment spot for much of the custodial staff (offices, etc.).

    Does Epcot Need Saving?

The primary void I see that needs filled at Epcot is the empty WoL building. Future World East just seems very incomplete. They did an awesome job of breathing life back into the Seas pavilion, which helps to spread the crowds out a bit. We can nitpick attractions and whatnot all day, but I...

    Too Many Threads! Any Thoughts???

Restricting the posting of new threads to certain members does not seem very productive when trying to have healthy discussions. And the "News and Rumors" and "General Discussion" forums may move quickly, but there are many forums that have a much slower pace, and would actually be detrimental...

    Real time photo updates

Quite a few changes have gone on at Twisney, and it looks to be picking up steam. This is a really cool idea, and will definitely be helpful to those both in the parks and out of them. The creator was interviewed on a WDW fan podcast, which can be reached from the main Twisney page. It was...

McDonalds food being removed from Restaurantosaurus?

All I will say is it makes me a little sad to see people in Epcot line up for McDonald's food when there is so much other amazing food to try. Although, it may just be that people think that the McDonald's stand is the American restaurant. I've just always been the type who likes to get the...

    Wishes or Illuminations?

I prefer Illuminations. It's just such a cool venue for a fireworks show, with the World Showcase, being around the fireworks instead of watching from afar... it's just the total package. Personally, one of my favorite parts of the show is when the narrator "blows" the torches out. It's such...

    Just A Little Discouraged

It's not really out of line to request this, but there's one thing to understand about the CM with whom you are making this request. A CM who is in a loading or assigning position is in a fast-paced and high pressure spot. Arguably more than any other position, this CM has a direct impact on the...

    Just A Little Discouraged

That is exactly how I feel about it. It was an experience I will never forget, and I still get the urge to move back down there for good. Although there are some bad times, it's a surreal job and if you really take advantage of it, you can make some special moments that you and the guests will...
