That is one of my favorite things to do. Walt's own involvement make it special and it is one ride that won't change with express permission from the Disney family, so I'm told. And when it's hot its a great place to cool down, that or the people mover, since it's right there. :king:

Hands down go to the California Grill atop the Contemporary for dinner and fireworks. Go out on the observation deck (to the right once you get off the elevator) and watch/listen to the show. It's also great to be over by the castle in the park when they do the show. I can't stress enough...

I just ride to the Contemporary or the Grand Floridian ;)

I live 70 miles from the coast of North Carolina, but I'd go to WDW just as much if it was closer, or if Orlando had more opportunity in this ole' economy! Heading to Disney for a week, this Saturday!!
