    Candlelight Processional ?

We did the package 2 years ago and Neil Patrick Harris was narrating. People started lining up hours before the show. If you want to see it inside the theater, I would recommend a package so you don't waste so much time in the line.

    Fast pass + parades?

I get to book my FP+ in about a month. I have to say that I'm getting a little stressed out. Last year, when we were there in October, I had pre-booked FP+ but were also able to still get paper FP. It seems like I will need to think much more strategically this year.

What do you wear to dinner?

I never, ever change into something other than my normal T-shirt and nice shorts park clothes. For every one of our dinners, we're coming from a park, so comfort is of utmost importance to me. If I were able to stay for a couple of weeks, I would feel like I could take a little more leisure...

    MouseKeeping

We leave $5/day for 2 adults and a tidy 9 year old in a basic room, usually Value.

JUST RELEASED- Late Fall Room Offer!!!

Just moved from a Little Mermaid room at AoA to Caribbean Beach Resort for ~$400 more than the original package. I was bummerd to miss out on free Dining so this makes me happy!

    That good 'ol Disney Magic

I totally agree! We love WDW. One of our favorite memories is of staying at POR. Every morning, we would make a game out of jumping only on the white lines on the cross walk to the car. How stupid is that! I could do that anywhere, but there is something particularly pleasing about thinking...

    EMH change

I am a huge Disney fan but it is a business. And a publicly owned one, at that. They are making these changes because there is a financial upside, pure and simple. I can imagine no other reason why such a change would be made, after people (like me) have already made their reservations for...

Your liquid intakes whilst in the parks

I don't bring anything with me. I just get the free ice water as I'm thirsty. I've never had a single problem with this.

    Memory Maker

Last year, when it was PP+, I chose the download option. Within 5 minutes, I had my 300 pictures with all my edits, no problems at all.

Strangest reason for a Disney trip

@draybook- That was hilarious! That is the hardest I laughed at a posting in a LONG time. Well done.

Favorite free things to do at WDW

We are planning on spending the evening at Boardwalk after an AK day. Can we park there for free? We're staying at AoA, so we'll have a parking pass showing we're resort guests, but not that resort.

Be Our Guest is impossible to get

I had the same experience. Up and on at 6am exactly. Tried BOG first thing, and nothing available at all. I have no clue how I managed to get a table last year midway through our October trip. No clue. It didn't happen this year, that's for sure.

    'Ohana Dinner Disappointment

Just made my ADR's on Monday for a trip. My original plan was Ohana on our first night, but that was scrapped when I heard about the menu changes. The chicken skewer was the only thing my daughter truly liked, though she ate some of just about everything. It's certainly not worth the money...

The Continued Popularity of Liberty Inn

I will eat nearly anyplace else in WS before going to Liberty Inn. In my opinion, it is an embarrassingly lame reflection of American cuisine. How about some Cajun? How about some fried chicken? There have to be more choices than these boring selections.

    outstanding meals at WDW

I'm curious about the Boma breakfast. I'm making ADR's on Monday, and had planned on booking Tusker House breakfast (hopefully...), because DH and DD are pretty picky/conventional breakfast eaters. Any thoughts on Boma for picky eaters?

Rock Your Disney Side - 24 hour character party at Magic Kingdom

@tinkgrl1685, Exactly- I would be wasted for at least a day afterwards. Unless I was a local, it wouldn't be worth it at all for me. Then again, I've never been one for all-nighters so there's not much that could make me stay up for 24 hours straight.

People who actually experienced Magic Bands

I really liked them, and liked not having to keep track of my money, tickets, and FP's. On a previous trip, I lost my ticket (the plastic KTTW) and a gift card that were in my pocket and fell out. Now, we stick money is a special "vacation" checking account and link the bands to this- no more...

To rent or not to rent (a car)

I will start by saying we're not usually there during very busy times. That said, I MUCH prefer having a car. Even during supposed down times, we've wasted a ton of times waiting on buses. Maybe they just don't run as many buses... We also like to park hop nearly every day, and having a car...

    Disney secrets

@graphite1326, Usually when we leave DAK, we go to the right around a cave past Rainforest Café. If you go through the little cave, though, there is a wooden, swinging bridge. It's nothing amazing, but it's now our habit to give a few jumps on the bridge before leaving. Enjoy!

    AAA Diamond Parking Going Away?

This is the last remaining reason we book through AAA. As soon as this perk is gone, I will NEVER again use AAA. Their customer service is absolutely terrible, at least at the 3 different AAA offices I've booked through in the Cincinnati area.
