    Dining Dilemma

MNSSHP and MVMCP tickets get you in at 4 for the party that starts at 7. This event doesn't start until later, thus early entry gets bumped later as well.

News On-ride PhotoPass comes to the Haunted Mansion

I'll take a wait-and-see approach. Modern digital photography can do wonders without flash if the setup is done properly. It's conceivable there could be an on-ride photo without flash or even one with flash that blends into the ride effects, for example, in the portrait hall they have lightning...

    Dining Dilemma

Pretty sure they do both. But they don't start distribution at the gates until 7PM because that's when your hard ticket gets you in without using a park admission. The stations inside the park are for people who choose to use an admission or are AP holders and are already in the park.

    Dining Dilemma

They'll have wristband stations within the park so you won't need to go back to the entrance. They set up before 7PM, but I don't remember how long before.

Do I need to have tickets purchased in order to make dining reservations?

At 180 days anyone can book ADRs. If you have a Disney Resort reservation you can book up to ten days of your booking at 180 days instead of booking day-by-day and if your resort stay is more than the 10 days, you can add the extra days one at a time until your check-out day is booked. Edit to...

News Mizner's Lounge to be expanded at Disney's Grand Floridan Resort into a Beauty and the Beast inspired lounge

I don’t remember ever seeing it full (admittedly, I haven’t visited often). Of course, the Menswear store never seemed busy either.

    TIW or DDP?

If the numbers are close, it comes down to how you eat and whether the adults drink alcohol. I always found the DDP doesn’t match the way I prefer to eat. TiW gives 20% off everything, including alcohol, including at bars around property. I prefer TiW for my style of eating/drinking.

Linking old tickets - original owner deceased

Tickets that old have to be dealt with at a ticket window or Guest Relations. You may have problems as they are non-transferable. If the original owner has died, they may not allow you to use them.

    World trip advice needed

I actually found that out about HK and visas shortly after posting that. :bored: I may adjust and stay longer in both. 🆒 I planned on a day or two “touristing” in Paris and Tokyo, which may now expand to Shanghai and HK thanks to your info. As I move forward I’m discovering that specific...

    World trip advice needed

So... I think I've narrowed it down. The best combination of weather, no holidays and all other factors seems to have a sweet spot in 2020 of the last few weeks of March and the first week of April. The only holiday in the mix is "Tomb Sweeping Day" in China. Although it'll be cooler in France...

    Driving vs bus to parks

I prefer taking the buses, but it's really up to you. Driving is generally faster. I like to have a "libation" or a few, so taking bus makes more sense for me. The only time driving is potentially a problem would be the crazy-busy days when the lots may be full [New Year's, July 4, etc...]

All you need to know about 'Service Your Way' at Walt Disney World Resort hotels

I'll never opt to put staff out of work. Sorry. Staffing levels are "adjusted" when they reach the number of rooms serviced by Mousekeepers per day. Would you want to be told to stay home tomorrow without pay because guests opted out?

    ADR 180+10 Clarification

As long as you have a resort reservation at a Disney resort, 180 days from your check-in date you can book ADRs for each day including your check-out date, up to a total of ten days' at once. If you're staying longer than 9 nights, each subsequent day's ADRs can be done one day at a time...
