I think you’re right. Travel won’t be safe until herd immunity has taken hold everywhere. Even if every Canadian and US citizen is vaccinated, there’s still all of the poorer countries that aren’t able to vaccinate as many as quickly. If people are traveling, variants become more prevalent...

If you have an AP or an AP Voucher, you can see AP pricing on-line. If you don't, I believe you can normally call and request AP pricing on the understanding you'll buy one while there. Unfortunately, since they're not currently offering APs for sale, I'm not sure that'll help.

There are usually a special button and park map to mark the occasion. There would be a speech and some entertainment as well. Sometimes they'll sell "day of" merch.

Shouldn't matter. I only have a voucher and it allowed me to book park days. It may be that because you've booked days with a resort reservation it's seeing that as your 3 days you can book with an AP and won't let you book more?
