EPCOT: What would you add or change?

Get rid of epcot completely and put in another MK!:happy::happy::happy: Kidding of course. DH would not like me teasing like that, as Epcot is his favorite park. Just not my cup of tea.

Why Can't They Clean Rides Better?

We have never had any problems or seen anything unsanitary on the ride seats while at Disney.

    bad language in the parks

If somebody is dropping cuss words as frequently as the rest of us say "umm", that person needs some mental help and quickly!

World of Color: Feasible at WDW

It was rumored once to replace Fantasmic at DHS, but this never happened. I am glad they never reoved Fantasmic as it is one of our favorite nighttime attractions.

    bad language in the parks

Funny how this topic was brought up, I was talking to a friend whom used to share a apartment with during our days at Disney's CP. She was telling me about a "cussing dolphin" which can be found at the dolphin cove guest interaction at Sea World orlando. This is a true story, it makes a noise...

What's with all the love for spinners?

Not to mention it is a nice change to ride something on Universal property which does not require putting on 3D glasses. ;):in pain::rolleyes:

    The Spirited Sixth Sense ...

That is shame because DH, kids and I were thinking about moving down there from Indiana one year soon to be closer to the magic. Yet everything we read or learn about the area is negative, saying no jobs, high cost of living, and so on. it gets rather depressing but is still a dream of ours some...

    bad language in the parks

Have you heard of a place called Universal? It is just down the street from WDW. Lots of good simulatiors and roller coasters. Go check it out! You would fit right in down there! And no you may not be responsible for my children or other peoples children, but you also could show a little self...

What's with all the love for spinners?

It just dawned on me how many spinner rides are in Florida. You have two Dumbos, magic carpets of Alladin, Astro Orbitor, triceratops spin, Dr. Seuss fish spinner at IOA, new alien spinner at Uni Studios, plus not sure if any at Legoland, SeaWorld or Busch? So there are at least seven spinners I...

Middle of August used to be a sow time.

    bad language in the parks

this doesn't surprise me at all. Another reason DH and myself avoid F&W festival, CityWalk, or any other area which pander to society's lowest common denominator. I do not remember hearing any foul language while at the parks, but this is not something I pay attention to. But out of common...

    WDW Commercial from 1986

That may be what it is. I am not going to lie I am scared to death of old age. having seen enough of the money talk shows such as Susie Orman and Clark the money doctor, it has been implanted in my head that retirement is out of reach no matter how hard we work in todays times. it worries me...

    WDW Commercial from 1986

Sure the older audiences who view that ad may be inspired to visit. However the rest of the population has been molded to dread the older years. we have been trained since high school to NOT expect a lofty retirement, and TO expect health issue after health issue because of constant bombardment...

Was the Magic of Disney a Secret?

The internet a big factor. someone can be sitting at home in Portugal, watch youtube videos of the parks, and spark an interest in visiting. the internet has changed marketing like no other.

    WDW Commercial from 1986

Both my parents are in their upper 50s. Nothing wrong with that, but i highly doubt Disney would put them in a tv advertisement as the main characters.

    WDW Commercial from 1986

Not dissing old people. It is just foolish of DISNEY to have the main characters in a WDW COMMERCIAL being a retired aged couple which subliminally makes the viewers at home think of retirement, sickness and so on so forth. Nothing against the old couple seen in the ad, but saying an ad like...

    WDW Commercial from 1986

Not the old couple in the ad but the audience who views the commercial. When you are watching tv and see an older or retired couple as the main focus during a commercial, what is that commercial usually about? Usually perscription medications, aarp supplimental insurance, retirement needs, or...
