    Disney Transport Between Hotels

Thanks - I had thought it was a test, and wondered if it had been kept up. Sounds like a "no"

Help with the best building to ask for at the beach club villas

We had a room overlooking the villa pool, and liked it a lot more than the leafy experience of what they call Epcot view, where you can see some fireworks over the trees. But if you plan to be in the room when Illuminations isn't happening, I would go with villa pool view. Caveat, you can also...

    Disney Transport Between Hotels

Hey, I read that, to promote the signature restaurants at deluxe hotels, Disney was offering a "shuttle" service between them for dinner. For example, if you were staying at the BWI or BWV and had a reservation at, say, Cali Grill, you could get a free ride from the BWI to The Contemporary...

    Merry & Bright Dessert Party

Price not listed anywhere, but last year's Frozen event for Osborne, which also included the sing-along and a couple of other Frozen things (I didn't attend, but read about it) was $89 for an adult. I am guessing based on that that this will be between $59 and $69. Just a guess

    Best Resort Lounges

Agree on places like Tambu, Crew's Cup and Sanaa, but for them (and some others) bear in mind that people waitng for their dining reservations often sit in them, sometimes with small children and sometimes without getting a drink. I have found Tambu is the worst offender, with families with...

Sit down breakfast in or around Epcot, help please

Another vote for Capt's Grille at the YC - you can do either buffet or a la carte, and it's spacious, quiet, and a short walk or boat ride to the International Gateway. One of our favorite breakfast spots

    Epcot Reservations

Thanks for the info -- just tried and yep, I also got Chefs de France, for December 4! Hurray! :)

    Epcot Reservations

Same thing happened to me - plus on the website for my dates, nothing comes up at Epcot for either lunch or dinner, except Spice Road, Monsieur Paul, Le Cellier, and Akershus, which are not part of the Processional Package. I posted this on the thread about difficulty making reservations

Has anyone else noticed dining booked up?

Yes, i was nboo Yes, i was booking 180 days out, and I know, i have Never had trouble booking and rebooking the first two weeks of December. Unfortunately, been on work calls all day (how Dare they make me work when I have Disney issues to address???) so haven't had the time to hang out on...

Has anyone else noticed dining booked up?

Just tried booking reservations for the first week in December, and Every Single Restaurant in Epcot is fully booked for both lunch and dinner except for Akershus, Spice Road Table, Le Cellier and Monsieur Paul. Which look to me to be the only restaurants not bookable for Processional Packages...

    Free water at resorts

Bear in mind, if you are driving, or having groceries delivered, or picking them up with a stop using a car service, a case of water is at most $4. We always get at least one and each take two or three bottles (depending on season) into the parks with us

    Questions about Disney at Christmas

Oh, goodness, I cry through most of the Processional. Every time. :) And Christmas Illuminations just gives you chills it's so beautiful. They usually release the dinner package dates sometime the end of August. When we have done the package, we generally do the middle show -- restaurants...

    Questions about Disney at Christmas

Goodness, can't believe no one has mentioned the Candlelight Processional followed by Christmas Illuminations! Both are a must-do for us, usually multiple times. Depending on crowds and who is performing, you can usually get into the Processional without doing the Dining Package, or at worst...

    Best drink at World Showcase

May I recommend the Moroccarita (sp?) at the counter outside of Spice Table? Really looking forward to my next one

    What to pack for April?

I suggest you not only check a site like Accuweather for the averages for the time you are going, but also check the forecast right up to your departure day (it changes regularly in the Orlando area and was was forecast a week ago could be very different today) and make last minute adjustments...

Magic Kingdom Resorts Bar or Sports Bar

I'd go with the Territory Lounge at the WL, to keep the theme going. Plus it's a great bar, a short boat ride away. I don't know if Crockett's Lounge at FW has TV's -- I seem to remember they do, but couldn't swear to it

Eat At The Same Place Twice?!?

We've eaten at Captain's Grille for breakfast and dinner in the same four trip (granted, not the same day) since anywhere you go, breakfast and dinner will be totally different food, and if the restaurant is convenient to where you want to be, why not? Come to think of it, we've had lunch and...

    Best steak on disney property

The strip steak at Flying Fish was really excellent. One of my favorites. Hold the Sauce Foyot. Not big on frou-frou sauces on my steaks. :)

Downtown Disney Parking and Traffic over the weekend was insanity

Does anyone know if Disney bus traffic is impacted by this? We are staying at the BWV and planned on going to DTD on Friday. Should we cab to OKW and boat in? Any info appreciated Thanks!

    Best breakfast?

Our personal favorite is Captain's Grille at the YC. Great buffet, and also a really good a la carte menu. Nice and relaxing, as well
