    Polynesian

One other thing no one seems to have mentioned that Deluxe resorts have that Moderate and Value don't is a private balcony. We really enjoy spending time sitting out on them, and the ones at The Poly are awesome (if you get one - some of The Poly buildings, the middle floor doesn't have them...

Trails End or Hoop De Doo?

Personally, we really enjoy The Hoop and do it every few years (not a regular thing for us, but we do enjoy it still) and honestly, getting to FW just to do Trails End is a long trek. Oh, and on ways to get there (and back) I would honestly suggest taxi/Uber to get there, only since if you...

PHOTOS - New bag check areas greatly enhance Magic Kingdom arrival experience

That was my first thought, since I often go to Epcot when staying at BLT - it could be annoying to go through security at the Contemporary, change to the Epcot monorail, and then go through security again before going into Epcot

Advice on being 90 days post op bariatric surgery.

We've shared meals on occasion at both table service and counter service meals, and have always been accommodated. How graciously and how easily has been varied, I have to say. Best share was The Paddock Grill at SS, where we split a bacon cheeseburger and fries, and we were not only given...

Coral Reef for a party of five...decent seats??

I'm with Minnie Mum - we've eaten there many times, and when you are next to the glass, it's surprising the number of small children whose parents don't seem to think it's impolite for their kids to hang over and on your table and chairs to get a good look. We really like one tier up

    Passholder Lines

AP holders get a card along with their Magic Bands, which we have to show to get some of the AP discounts offered, so I wonder if we will have to show the card to get into that line? That may help make sure people go the right way - you have to hold up your card and a CM will point you in the...

    Hurricane Matthew

Guys, I am about an hour northwest of Disney, and it's monsooning here, with huge wind gusts that are making the lights flicker, and the worst won't hit around the Orlando area until between 10AM and 2PM. This is not an overreaction!

    Disney web site down

Phone app kind of comes and goes - I was able to book a dining reservation this afternoon at about 4:15.

What time to go for lunch?

We often have either table service reservations for 2 or 2:30 (and have a glass of wine or something before we order, so we aren;t reating before three) or visit a QS around that time, and find it works out nicely. Crowds are lighter, and you will have no trouble being served :)

    Yak and Yeti discount?

If you have an annual pass or are DVC, you can get 10% off at Y&Y.

Is the pull out sofa bed at DVC Villas comfortable?

I've slept on the sofabeds in the BWV, BCV, SS, OKW, BLT, AKV, WLV, and The Poly Villas, and they are all different, but none was so bad I couldn't sleep. The BWV, AKV and BLT were the most comfortable, and the set up at the BWV was the easiest. The ones at SS and The Poly were really hard...

    Contemporary or Bay LakeTowers?

FYI, if your friend is letting you use their DVC, it's BLT..... The Contemporary is not available on DVC points. Which we actually liked a lot, and if you ask for between the third and fifth floors, getting to The Contemporary via the bridge is a breeze :)

    CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION QUESTION

Just got back from WDW last night and were horrified to discover that what some have heard is true - they now sell so many packages that for NPH and Whoopi (Tues - Fri) there were at most five or six rows of standby seats, and the rest were roped off for packages. Tues we did make the mistake...

    CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION QUESTION

Will do! We will be there Tuesday through Saturday, so the plan is to see if we get in on Tuesday, and if not, see if we can still book a package for either Wed or Friday - you can usually book Restaurant Marrakesh at the last minute!

    CANDLELIGHT PROCESSION QUESTION

Two years ago we walked in on standby a few times for Neil Patrick Harris, without waiting on the standby line for more than half an hour. Done it for other narrators on a regular basis over the years, and have never gotten blocked out. Famous last words - trying again next week......;)

Going to the World with Cancer

She may want to go back to the room and rest more than the rest of you, or spend more time sitting and watching you enjoy yourselves - she will be wiped out - so make her feel comfortable telling you that. If she is not comfortable asking for plan changes, please maybe be a little proactive...

    The music playing in Epcot

Check out Mr Theme Park Audio on YouTube - has tons of Epcot loops. Then you can download a program called YouTube Downloader (look for it on CNET) and not only save the video to your iTunes library, but you can also extract just the audio from any video you have downloaded.

Wave of American Flavors (Adults eating off the kids menu)

What you can also do is split an adult entree. We do that often at lunch if we are planning a full dinner. If you tell the cast member, they will often split it for you back in the kitchen and just bring out two plates each with half on it. We've even split burgers and fries at counter...

    Best Resort Table Service?

Okay, so I have plebian tastes in food (simple, well cooked steak, pork tenderloin, and chicken) but my favorite resort restaurant is The Turf Club at SS. Excellent service, relaxing, and the mushroom risotto that came with the pork tenderloin puts Le Cellier to shame.

    Be Our Guest - Dinner

Our first trip to BOG for dinner, we asked for The West Wing, and got it after about a ten minute wait. They can usually tell you when you check in how long the wait will be, and then you can decide if it's worth it. Second time for dinner, they said 30 minute wait and we decided it wasn't...
