We decided to do a mini-trip this upcoming weekend since we only live 2 1/2 hours away! I can't wait to see the parks all done up for Christmas! :xmas:

Everyone's rooms/houses look GREAT! My question is though - how do you keep everything dust-free? We used to have a lot of our collectibles, picture frames, etc out but the dusting was killing me! Any tips on how you keep them clean? Especially the plush figures - they are the worst to get...

Going on a vacation with a friend is kind of like getting married - no matter how well you know someone, you are in for surprises! Sorry that it didn't go well for you - hopefully you are able to go back to WDW soon, on your own, and enjoy yourself the way you deserve to.

I was there two years ago - the fridge in the room was small, not full-size. The selection at the food court was good - especially the grill/broiler place that someone previously mentioned. The roasted chicken was good! I also got a refillable mug to use there. Hope that helps!

There is a store in my local outlet mall (in St. Augustine) called Disney Character Premier . . .all of the items are Disney related and seem to be 'past season'. Is this an actual Disney store? They always have great stuff cheap!

I have enough to keep me happy at the present - maybe 20 or 30 Disney-related pins. I want more though! Now if we are counting Star Wars or Hard Rock Cafe pins - WAAAAY TOO MANY! :D

Great tips! I also offer to take pics for families and couples - breaks up the monotony of being there by yourself. My husband is coming with me this year to my convention so I can't wait - it will be fun sharing it all with him. :king:

It's probably been about 25 years now (dating myself!!!) but I was in SM with my brother and a friend when it shut down once. The lights came on and they had to bring people off of the ride - we were almost to the front of the line so needless to say, we were bummed! It was cool to see it though.

I was there two years ago - stayed in Aruba. I enjoyed it. I actually didn't mind that it was far from the food court and shops. It gave me a chance to take a peaceful walk every night along the beach/water on my way to dinner or for a snack.

I go to a convention every year at WDW for work so I eat alone for 5 nights usually. I have never had a problem with TS luckily - the servers seem to always be good.
