Don't be nervous. My special needs daughter is nervous about everything, and handled it like a trooper. She loved talking to all the national guard people there. And the nurse who gave the shot was very compassionate, as was the man who signed her in before the shot.

We also got our first Pfizer yesterday. Woke up this a.m. with slight sore arm - nothing else. 2nd dose March 24. Hope it goes as well.

They are doing that in city and Long Island also. Supposedly they may open it up to more people (any NYers) when they think the flow of people who "qualify" slows down.

Hope they get it. My aunt was supposed to get her shot tomorrow (Tuesday) at a church in Hempstead. Got a call last night that it was cancelled because they ran out of vaccine and she has to re-schedule, which was a pain in the butt last time. Terrible.
