    Quick Question Regarding Parking

Thanks for all of the helpful advice, guys! We likely will be arriving at the resort before park opening. I am hoping that one advantage of gaining two hours from Birmingham to Anaheim will be that everyone will pop out of bed in time to hit the parks early. I will keep my fingers crossed...

    Quick Question Regarding Parking

Thanks. We definitely plan to park inside the Disneyland Resort, but it looked like the Disneyland website was directing guests to a different lot, away from the Mickey and Friends structure. Maybe I misunderstood those instructions.

    Quick Question Regarding Parking

Is there a general opinion on the best place to park on-site for a day visit? The official website directs you to exit at Disney Way and enter a parking lot off of Harbor, but I also am seeing, unofficially, the possibility of parking in the Mickey and Friends parking structure.

The Spirit Takes the Fifth ...

We adopted our daughter in China and spent time in Beijing, Changsha, Yiyang, and Guangzhou. The smog was ever-present and quite depressing on many levels.

The Spirit Takes the Fifth ...

We have averaged about one WDW trip per year for the past 15 years or so, usually 4-5 days each trip, in various types of on-property and off-property accomodations. This past spring, we played in California (starting in San Diego, 4 nights at a 2BR at the Grand Californian/3 days in the DLR...

The Spirit Takes the Fifth ...

I almost completely agree. We were at WDW from Tuesday, November 26 through Saturday, November 30. We used the Magic Bands and My Disney Experience. The primary benefit I found was the ability to obtain Fastpasses for some of the high-demand, low-capacity rides without running around the...

Guide to DLR for WDW Veterans!

We did a very similar trip last Spring Break with our five kids (ranging from 14 to 5), but we started the first weekend in San Diego and finished the second weekend in San Francisco. We spent four nights in a 2BR villa at the Grand Californian, spent 3 full days in the parks, and had an...

What to Expect on December 29 and December 31

The schedule is pretty compressed. We are flying into LAX early afternoon on December 28. Because we will already be pretty close, I think we might try to look around Beverly Hills a bit and then head across to the Santa Monica Pier before heading to our hotel in the OC. The 29th will be a...

What to Expect on December 29 and December 31

Thanks, and I think that will be the plan of attack. We may even look into single rider for Radiator Springs Racers at rope drop and then snag some California Screamin fastpasses as soon as we exit. Wow! I had not even considered the whole countdown to New Year angle (duh!). My youngest is...

What to Expect on December 29 and December 31

Thanks. Our thought is to try to pick a few favorites to focus on, and then enjoy some of the entertainment and general atmoshere if the lines get too long.

What to Expect on December 29 and December 31

Those in this subforum may recall that my family had a fantastic spring break in California this year, including 4 nights in a Grand Californian 2BR villa overlooking Paradise Pier and 3 days in the parks (sandwiched between visits to San Diego, San Francisco, and Henry Cowell Redwoods State...

    No fastpasses available today?

Although we are DVC members and are staying at the Boardwalk at the end of this month, we will be coming back (to maximize use of discounted annual passes) in the spring. For that trip, we are staying in a 2BR at the Bonnet Creek Resort. I am kind of with you. If we are shut out of...

    No fastpasses available today?

We're going at the end of the month. I'm glad we already set up our FastPass+ (which is heavy on what appears to have been designated Tier 1 attractions). Maybe I better log in and make sure our FastPass+ have not been altered!
