I did a four miler yesterday, first run since Dopey. It was a pretty quick little run. My "runkeeper" said it was my 16th fastest in the last 3 years. Great weather for an afternoon run about 52 and perfect

I never knew about the seedy underbelly of cheating on races. I have been running for 20 years and never really heard much about it. Then I start reading the recent posts on this thread and I have been down the rabbit hole today. Holy Crud! What is wrong with people?

I think part of the issue is that these races lure more "casual" runners. To be clear nothing is wrong with casual runners, nothing. But lots of folks are fudging their times so they don't get swept, or can stop for characters. I was in s3 which is probably right for my current speed/age. But...

I wonder what the logic at runDisney was in moving away from "Coral"? Was that a change people were clamoring for? Did they decide it was "dehumanizing" or offensive to animals? That seemed really odd and clunky every time they would say it from the stage.

Personally I would hesitate to count a virtual race on my mileage under normal circumstances, but that is up to the runner. I mean who actually cares? I 100% respect anyone who counts virtual races in their total, that is up to you. Anyone who tries to question this.....must be really fun at...
