That must be the new secretary. I’ve been having a hard time finding a good one ever since Debbie quit. Anyway, I really enjoyed it. Definitely the best of the latest trilogy.

Just got back from seeing Star Wars. I thought it was really good. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again.

Feeling much better today. Still coughing a lot, but I’m sure that’s going to linger for a while.

This is actually the first year I’ve ever been sick for Christmas. I’m hoping it will not be a new tradition. You allowed your food to touch more than I did. I will say it makes for a prettier picture that way, but I’ll still be keeping mine separated. 😉

Being that I’m still sick, I’ve ended up mostly laying around all day, but, luckily for me, It’s a Wonderful Life has been on repeat all day.

Merry Christmas Everybody! I’m actually feeling worse today, but thankfully not as bad as I did Monday night. I’ve had to hand off my usual cooking duties. Christmas hasn’t gone exactly as I planned, but I still feel so blessed this Christmas. I hope the same for all of you and your families...

I’ve been sick. Last night I felt absolutely awful. I’m still feeling weak but much better than I was. Thankfully I felt well enough to attend church. It was a beautiful Christmas Eve service.

You have great taste in old sitcoms. The Mary Tyler Moore Show and the Bob Newhart Show are at the top of my list.

We finally made it back home. I’m already wanting to go back. I’ll probably make a trip after Christmas to try and get some Mr. Bingle stuff on sale, and some beignets, of course.

My secretary, Debbie, does most of mine. If I ever post anything weird it was probably her.

We’re doing some shopping on our last day down here. Jingle, jangle, jingle, here comes Mr. Bingle. Had to.

The beignets were so good. And here’s the damage. I was actually doing really good, but when I was almost done I dropped a big pile of powdered sugar right on my pants.

Current temperature is 51. The wind is a bit cold though.

I’m happy to see the old World Trade Center finally being brought back to life. It’s going to be a Four Seasons. The only sad part is that it will be losing some of its 70’s detailing. We’re now in the Quarter. And now we’re waiting for beignets.

Just about everything after Katrina made me sad. It was not a happy time for us. Seeing buildings like the Dome restored to their former glory really means a lot. It really is an impressive structure, and I’m a big fan of its architectural style. The Smoothie King Center right next door, not so...
