As far as a time frame for DHS is concerned, I suspect we will see the DCA strategy repeated in Orlando...refurbs completed and additions opened over a five-year period with a grand park relaunch and major land introduction at the end (prior to the kick-off of the WDW 50th Anniversary celebration).

It has been posted a few times over the years that the Television lot was an expansion pad. If true, would you consider it part of the park footprint due to the supposed long-term intent for that area?

Makes sense. Unless they simply want to allow guests an easy stroll from the garage to the park (or a short ride on a moving sidewalk). Thus, building closer to the gates. In that case, I suppose Disney could just park guests at the farther sections of the existing lot during construction.

Regarding infrastructure, if a parking garage is built on existing lots, where will guests park during its construction? Will Disney shuttle those guests from another area of the WDW property?

Since we're speculating, I'd suggest that the infrastructure changes you listed will be under 25% of the $2.8 billion budget. Otherwise, the infrastructure changes at DLR will take up almost half of their $1.5 billon budget.

I'm curious if the infrastructure budget for Disney Springs has ever been identified in any posts here? Considering the amount of work being done on upgrading DTD (parking decks, multiple ramps, traffic and pedestrian bridges), it seems like it could be a good indicator of what may be...

Hear, hear! The Holidays (Nov/Dec) could be extra exciting this year with the releases of Star Wars 7, Star Wars: Battlefront 3, Spectre (I know, non-Disney). And maybe, JUST maybe, a broad hint regarding what specifics may be expected with SW in DHS.

Just a thought. One potential drawback with this scenario is that a greater portion of the attraction budget would probably be allocated toward exterior theming since all sides of the attraction would be visible (think 7DMT). Plus, it could limit additional, associated shops/restaurants due...

I agree on the inside. Based on the concept art, my understanding is that the sections of this building facing the park will be all rock-work and plants/vines. Hopefully that is carried throughout the queue. My guess, like others have posted, is that the back will be painted or themed...

I would love to see a new attraction in Adventureland that utilized the original concept for IJ at DL. Would be great to have both the train and a portion of Jungle Cruise pass through it.

JMO, but I suspect we will see the same strategy for DHS as was used for DCA...new attractions and re-furbs completed over a five-year span. My guess is that there will be several additions opened during this period leading up to the 50th anniversary of WDW.

Sorry if this has already been addressed...I'm curious what that building/structure is between the floating mountains and the wall? Though it may have been under construction for a while, it seems like the top section has only been in fairly recent photos.
