October or November-when is the best time to go?

We have been 3 times in October. The first time was the second week of October in 2000. It was PERFECT. We walked right up to almost every single ride. The weather was awesome - just a little cool in the mornings, and a little cool at night, especially when we were waiting around the lagoon...

For Those of you With Glasses

I have always worn glasses and never had a problem with them on rides. It was wearing the 3D glasses OVER my glasses that I had a problem with. Yeah, my glasses got wet on Splash Mountain, and I wore them at Blizzard Beach, but I could always dry them off. It was more annoying to have to hold...

    Top Tips!!!

my number 1 tip for people is anti-perspirant roll-on for your feet. I couldn't find the bodyglide, so I used the anti-perspirant instead. It worked WONDERFULLY!!!! I even use it at work, since I'm on my feet all day. I make sure this is packed first thing!!!!

Annoying guests on vacation...Do you say something?

I've done those!!! I can't stand it when people try to push ahead. I had someone say they were needing to meet up with the rest of their party. We let them pass, and then found out THEY WERE ALONE. After that, we quit letting people pass, by blocking or taking up a lot of space. And I can't...

Annoying guests on vacation...Do you say something?

:sohappy: I applaud you for that myself!!!!! I LOVE it!! I would have definitely said something, or gone to find a CM, but I don't know that I'd be brave enough to do that! and I'm usually very vocal about things like that!

Things that scare you before your Disney trip

The first year we went, we flew. My son would turn 7 while we were at WDW. The week before we were to fly out, my son asked me "What would it be like to die in a plane crash?" My response (after a few seconds of stunned silence) was "I don't know. I've never died in a plane crash." So for...

Things that scare you before your Disney trip

US TOO!!! There won't be one of those shows on tv, we decide to fly, and then 2 weeks before we're set to fly out...BOOM. EVERY airplane disaster movie EVER made comes on tv, sometimes more than 1 channel!! Last year, not only did those shows come on tv, there were a couple of actual crashes...

We walked up last May and got right in. There weren't very many people inside at the time. We liked it so much that I went on and made reservations for our upcoming trip again this May. Have fun! (oh, and order the Chocolate Extinction!!!) :)

50's Prime Time Reviews and Opinions?

a friend of mine told me her experience with the "airplane", so we had to try it!! (we took ziploc baggies with us just in case!) Our waiter, Cousin Jeff, tried to fix my 14 year old son up with a girl at another table. Sadly, it didn't work out. A family at another table had...

What to say to Disney World bashers?

We go almost every year. In 2006, we took my sister & her 2 boys. She was also 4 months pregnant. She is now wanting to go back with us this May. Her mother in law doesn't understand why she wants to go back, why she needs $xxxx.xx, and why we need to go for 8 days. She says "When we went...

Ideas for Saving Some Money While at Disney

Since you're not doing the dining plan, there are a lot of ways you can cut out on meals. At counter service restaurants, order kids meals instead of adult entrees. At table services places, split the entrees. There is always too much for one person to eat it all. It can easily be split...

    Tigers at Magic Kingdom

My 16 y/o son is a HUGE LSU fan. Every trip he wears an LSU cap and/or LSU shirt. We got to paying attention and we saw more LSU gear than any other collegiate gear. And when you wear LSU, more people come up to you just to chat. It's amazing how many people started talking to us about LSU...

What would you like in your hotel room?

How about something like Mickey or Minnie's house at MK? When my son was younger, that's all he could talk about - how he wanted his bedroom just like Mickey's.

Email address to direct a complaint?

I would have complained right then. Why pay for something that was substandard? We've eaten there before and loved it, but if that's what you got, no way would I have paid for that.
