    Too Many Parks?

I don't think anyone would not like a fifth gate at WDW, a third in Anaheim or another Disney park stateside. But here is why its, IMO, not a feasable idea currently... WDW: Capacity, Labor, Operations budget Only at the peak periods (part of the summer and holidays) do the parks reach...

    AK Record Attendance Today!!

I want a fifth gate as much as everyone else, but this only happens a few times a year...there are alot more dead days, especially during the week throughout the year. Since another park would be open everyday, not to mention that the World has trouble staffing what they already have, I...

    Castle Suite after YOMD

No offense but Walt was long dead before the castle was built...it was actually intended for Roy Sr and the rest of the Disney clan.

    Pirates Water Park

Maybe we can find an IT guy from Laugh Floor who has seen an HQ exec's secret plans on a laptop for a Pirates Water Park too! hmmm...that post has disappeared

don't get to excited by high attendance one day=new attractions/expansion. Friday at AK EVERYTHING was "walk-on" all day.

Disney World Tells Santa Lookalike to Hit the Road

The news item I saw on a local florida news channel said he had been to the park not dressed as santa and got so many kids asking if he was that he returned the next time dressed Santa-like so he could "have a little fun with it" If he had been in a mickey sweat shirt and jeans and said no i'm...

    Nemo the Musical Photos 12-10-2006

As of Friday 12/15 the announcement still says no pictures or video of any kind. Also, not sure if this hs anything to do with it, but its my understanding that the cast of Nemo is 100% actors equity union performers. Regardless of actual policy there may be contractual requirements with the...

Disney World Tells Santa Lookalike to Hit the Road

Its also a safety issue. Parents might think this guy works for Disney and put more trust in him than they would an unknown guy in Santa drag. Turns out this fellow is a jolly soul, but someone could just as easily be up to some sort of no good. Kudos to management! :sohappy:

Monsters, Inc. - Laugh Floor Previews Has Begun

I miss some great attractions that are gone. I love some of the new attractions. There are opening day attractions I never bother with. I try everything new and some I rarely if ever bother with again (Stitch, cough). Some things are for kids. Some things are for older. Some are for...

More money for Pixar?!? Tom Staggs speaks...

Curious...where/how did you get that impression? I got the idea they would pretty much be clones. Would love to know if I missed something.

...which further highlights the need to convert the stinky Speedway - hydrogen cell vehicles anyone?

Monsters, Inc. - Laugh Floor Previews Has Begun

The change from screams to laughs was a METAPHOR for finding a new energy source that is more efficient and less destructive. Vision of the Future? Given today's world, that makes Laugh Floor the MOST thematically appropriate attraction in today's Tomorrowland! :lookaroun

Monsters, Inc. - Laugh Floor Previews Has Begun

These aren't so much previews as test audiences/focus groups. Computer animation (CGI) requires a complex and time consuming rendering process. If they are still deciding on characters and actions, they would not be animated to their eventual quality, as it would be a huge waste of time and...

    Space Mountain: Embarassing or Appreciated

Having ridden the revamped DL version ALOT, as well as WDW's version several times recently...I think a DL style refurb would be great. Keep the track layout (though do a total rebuild), two sides, single seating etc. Add onboard audio (I know a lot of people don't want this, but it does add a...

Rosie O'Donald swearing on stage at MGM!

I wish I they had Super Soap Weekends when I was a kid...I know I would much rather have waited on line to see Rosie O'Donnell introduce Susan Lucci than say see the Little Mermaid show or ride TOT.

Rosie O'Donald swearing on stage at MGM!

Oh that would be good for Disney...Front Page headlines...Star of the View thrown out of park for using bad words....ok I'm gonna go ride Space Molehill now :brick: :brick:

Rosie O'Donald swearing on stage at MGM!

Cursing is bad for small children, sets a bad example...but so does letting them watch all the debauchery on daytime soaps...don't take them to Soap events!

Are Unfairly Left Out of YOMD?

Dont forget there are hundreds of nights being awarded in the castle...most probably won't get a lick of publicity after the first few as it will be old news...so it won't matter who wins.

Rosie O'Donald swearing on stage at MGM!

Ok, critique her language but attack her "values?". Adopting children, giving her own money and raising MILLIONS for chairity...creating safe, family friendly vacation experiences for gay families...maybe some don't like her politics, maybe some have issues with homosexuality...but, IMO, Rosie...
