Maybe something like Disney+, ESPN+ or Genie+? Things that cost the company VERY little, but would be a nice gesture to the cast members that are going through a rough time at work.

Yeah, a lot of the cast are working when those things take place, or it is their day off. Not saying they don't happen, but they fall a long way short of making the front line cast feel like they are worth anything.

The holiday celebration pack is basically discounts on Disney products and services, so the Cast Member has to give Disney part of their paycheck back to use it. The parts that don't require spending money are rather insulting, like a few free packs of popcorn, but of course subject to blockout...

And BTW, in the past they have given gifts at Christmas that were actually worth something. A coffee table book on Disney animation and a watch come to mind.

But for majority of the cast that are on the front line doing all the heavy lifting this year, they don't see any of that. The end result is they get next to nothing.

New Disney Parks Chairman Josh D'Amaro is continuing with the tradition of giving absolutely nothing to the Cast Members for Christmas. In a year when many have been pushed to breaking point and moral is at an all-time low, there is nothing from the company to give any hint of appreciation...

That is hideous. Colors are fine, and the general looks is fine. BUT the representation of Mickey is horrendous. wow.

Was just at the Contemporary Resort and there are now signs up saying No Live Streaming, No Video, No Photos in some areas of the hotel. One was posted outside of the Wave entrance which is now walled off. I know these popped up in backstage areas a few weeks ago, but this is the first I have...

Not sure who you work for, but Disney needed to keep tens of thousands of Cast Members on hand to reopen the parks in July. If they had not done that then they would not have been able to reopen. The problems we are seeing now with things still closed are heavily related to some of those CMs...

Because if they didn't they would have been absolutely unable to reopen them when they did. Don't think that was done out of some kind of gift for the cast. It was done to ensure that the parks would be able to reopen.

So you might be thinking that when faced with rock-bottom Cast Member morale due to worse-than-ever working conditions, executives at Disney would consider things like paying a living wage, a 5 day max work week, giving cast a chance of requested days-off being granted, or even a realistic...
