We weren't given a rose at all! Once we 'checked in', they directed us straight through to the registers and although our reservation showed up, our order didn't. I'm still confused how they found us to bring our food, when we had no rose or anything like that to track us!

I was stood in a looooong line at Aloha Isle for a Dole Whip, and a guy came along & plugged his phone into an outlet there to charge. I didn't even notice a socket was there!

We'll be going from 4th-14th Nov this year, and now I'm reading about something called 'Jersey Week'. Coming from the UK, I have no idea about this at all. Are the parks really going to be crazy busy? Have I totally screwed up by booking this time of year?!

For the date I wanted, ours didn't show up until 10 days out! We pre ordered our meals but as happened to others, they didn't show up at the register so we got to change what we'd originally planned to have.

Our last trip was last month, and our next trip is November this year :) Before going last month, we hadn't been since November 2007!

Sounds like a dream to anyone looking at it from the outside, but I can totally get why it would be overkill. No chance of us managing that many trips, that's for sure!

How often did you go, out of interest? Once we decide on next year's trip one way or another, we were thinking of alternating WDW with *another place* every other year.

I love this way of thinking, that each holiday will be different. Of course, you're absolutely right. As he gets older, he will be able to do different things and have more input in what he actually wants to do, and that will make each trip unique :)

We usually arrive in the evening and after a long day & transatlantic flight, we just end up getting something from counter service place in the resort then hitting the hay, ready to get to the parks bright & early the following morning :)

It was still on (and delicious!) at the start of December. It would be a travesty if they take it off the menu, especially as it's so popular.
