Be Our Guest Fastpass+ ordering question??

We weren't given a rose at all! Once we 'checked in', they directed us straight through to the registers and although our reservation showed up, our order didn't. I'm still confused how they found us to bring our food, when we had no rose or anything like that to track us!

    Electrical outlets around WDW

I was stood in a looooong line at Aloha Isle for a Dole Whip, and a guy came along & plugged his phone into an outlet there to charge. I didn't even notice a socket was there!

Is There A Slow Time At Walt Disney World?

We'll be going from 4th-14th Nov this year, and now I'm reading about something called 'Jersey Week'. Coming from the UK, I have no idea about this at all. Are the parks really going to be crazy busy? Have I totally screwed up by booking this time of year?!

Be Our Guest Fastpass+ ordering question??

For the date I wanted, ours didn't show up until 10 days out! We pre ordered our meals but as happened to others, they didn't show up at the register so we got to change what we'd originally planned to have.

Hi I'm a new member who would like some hotel information..

Lovely to see a fellow Brit on here. Welcome! :) Have you had a shop around to make sure there are no offers on the Dining Plan at the moment? When we booked our trip for this November, we got the Disney Dining Plan included. If not, I agree with the others- you'd be better just paying out of...

    YAY! Finally decided

Our last trip was last month, and our next trip is November this year :) Before going last month, we hadn't been since November 2007!

Does going to WDW too often, take away some of the magic for kids?

Sounds like a dream to anyone looking at it from the outside, but I can totally get why it would be overkill. No chance of us managing that many trips, that's for sure!

Does going to WDW too often, take away some of the magic for kids?

How often did you go, out of interest? Once we decide on next year's trip one way or another, we were thinking of alternating WDW with *another place* every other year.

Does going to WDW too often, take away some of the magic for kids?

That's great to hear :) I'm sure if we lived in the States, we'd be tempted to go more than once a year, too!

Does going to WDW too often, take away some of the magic for kids?

Thanks for your reply :) We're planning on staying at different resorts each time & mixing up the ADRs so I guess that, coupled with him being older and having more input in what he wants to do, will make each experience different :)

Does going to WDW too often, take away some of the magic for kids?

We're quite spoilt as we live close to Manchester Airport, so we didn't have to get up too early to get to the airport with the flight being 11.15am. Also, we know that it's a direct flight. We're more concerned with having an internal flight to Heathrow at a crazy early time, then having to get...

Does going to WDW too often, take away some of the magic for kids?

I love this way of thinking, that each holiday will be different. Of course, you're absolutely right. As he gets older, he will be able to do different things and have more input in what he actually wants to do, and that will make each trip unique :)

Must do adrs with a toddler?

My DS loved Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace. When we left CP, he cried and said he wanted to stay forever haha! Depending if your daughter is a Disney Junior fan, Hollywood & Vine might be a good option. The good is average at best, but the opportunity to meet Handy Manny, Jake, Sofia and Doc...

Does going to WDW too often, take away some of the magic for kids?

My DH and I took our DS for his first WDW trip last month, and he absolutely adored it. We had such a brilliant time, so we're going back again in November, when he will be 3. Although it's still a way off, we're starting to talk about next year's trip. We would love to go to California & take...

TomorrowLand Terrace Dessert Party and Firework viewing:

We enjoyed it, and when we were seated, we were delighted to find our table in a great position. However, it was irrespective really as people started lining up along the railings to get a good view. I was a little disappointed as I was hoping to have a more relaxing experience and enjoy Wishes...

    Saratoga Springs

Another vote for the Grandstand area here! After following the advice of the awesome people on this forum, I requested that area & it was PERFECT. A 5 minute walk to the reception area & restaurants, about the same to the boat for Downtown Disney, a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop (being...

Advice Needed - How Young is Too Young?

We took our son for the first time last month, and he was 2 & 4 months. We went for 10 nights and had quite a relaxed attitude to how it might turn out. He absolutely ADORED it. He's talked about the trip every day since we've got back, and he truly 'got' the magic of it all. I was in tears many...

    First meal at Disney

We usually arrive in the evening and after a long day & transatlantic flight, we just end up getting something from counter service place in the resort then hitting the hay, ready to get to the parks bright & early the following morning :)

    Liberty Tree Tavern

It was still on (and delicious!) at the start of December. It would be a travesty if they take it off the menu, especially as it's so popular.
