That seems really cool! I think a backward launch would also be an amazing way to simulate being launched out of a Ravager ship's airlock, can't wait to learn more about this ride.

Does anyone else think that we might start to see (visible) exterior work on the UoE building before the year ends? Even if GOTG doesn't open for a couple of years, it would be nice if the exterior wasn't so dilapidated anymore!

I've been very curious too about what we'll actually expect...Hopefully, D23 will shed some more light and bring us an official name for the attraction! I'm personally hoping for "Guardians of the Galaxy: Universe of Energy!" ;)

For me, a neat part of the MCU is how there's pretty much always some sort of connection to reality, even with the more cosmic heroes (Peter's Walkman and Awesome Mix, Captain Marvel's roots as an Air Force pilot, Thor picking up a sense of humor, etc). I'm guessing that in the case of the GOTG...

I would love a Mystic Manor-type Doctor Strange dark ride on Grand Avenue where Star Tours for whenever they decided to remove/replace it, since the Sanctum Sanctorum would blend in nicely with Grand Avenue. For Captain Marvel though, my guess is that we could see something like this...

I was very surprised to see that a bunch of characters that have become household names like Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, and Thanos could be used at WDW! I'm still holding out hope that while Disneyland's Marvel Land focuses on the Earth-based MCU, the WDW Marvel Super Hero...

I agree with this, and in my opinion, the GOTG coaster seems like the most promising Marvel attraction yet since it's pretty much built from scratch. I made a chart listing which characters can be used at either Universal or WDW, there's a surprisingly nice roster for WDW!

Very cool, at first I was worried about it being a "spinning coaster", but after going on Crush's Coaster and loving it I can't wait for how fun this is going to be :)

Haha thanks, I think it would be an awesome way to tie EPCOT Center and GOTG together, even if it's just a reference in the pre-show and they use normal 70s/80s music for the actual coaster

My guess is that it's fairly likely we'll probably hear the original Universe of Energy theme on Peter's Walkman at some point.. (I made the EPCOT Mixtape Cover)

Totally agree, it's one of my favorite Epcot songs besides One Little Spark, would love them to bring back refreshed versions of the songs like they (somewhat) did with JII
