The entire Genie+ situation is fascinating. It has so many hoops and problems that it's wild to think it made through the approval process. I look forward to the Defunctland documentary on it.

Stating the obvious but... Genie+ overall is laughably bad. It can work for some at specific times for specific uses, but overall it's a miss. Obviously Hollywood Studios is the biggest problem park. We lost count of how many guests were upset/complaining/annoyed by the entire Genie+ and...

Where's the evidence of this? Many facts suggest the opposite given the train solution in no way can come even close to what DME did.

Kind of amusing seeing media discussing motion sickness and not feeling well after admitting to riding the coaster 10+ times.

A bit bummed that one of the only areas that highlights Pocahontas prominently is being removed. We don't need the same characters in every single park and show.

One other note of frustration about the park reservation system - We've been trying to do the Up Close with Rhinos tour for years now, and when it finally has availability, Animal Kingdom is full and has no passes. Extremely disappointing.

There's just so much emotion in both Wishes and HEA. Great shows. And then there's Enchantment... a show I struggle to remember even after seeing it multiple times.

Some of that feedback may be the fact they rolled out some nifty tech for a media event, but regular guests never got to see it in person.

Seems like Disney can't figure out what to do with this space and this is a short-term solution.

I'm a bit surprised the Disneyland announcements (Downtown changes, Paradise Pier changes) weren't held for D23.

It's just an opinion that Disney has focused a lot of late expanding / building new resorts to attract guests, but aren't matching the capacity needed at the theme parks. They're trying to get more and more people on property while not giving them enough to do.

I'm just curious at what point the resorts will be too overbuilt for the theme parks (if they aren't already). Also, replying to your comment to say it's great to see you around here again. :)

It is baffling how many people think "move Disney World out of Florida to a new state" is an idea that's even remotely possible.

This may not entirely fit in this thread, but the MagicBand options for guests after they book a resort reservation are terrible. Currently there's only eight to choose from.

So, so much better than waiting in a line. Characters roaming the park will always feel more organic and authentic.

Secured May 10. Honestly wasn't expecting to have a date after seeing such a long queue, but happy to have something. :) As always, I'm not a fan of Disney's decisions when it comes to IT (or randomly dropping the time).

Email arrived a minute ago. Entered queue with a "more than an hour" wait. Not optimistic.
