About 50% of guests are buying Genie+. In November 2021, about 33% of guests were buying Genie+. Unfortunately, this is one of those things that decreases in effectiveness the more people use it.

Not trying to defend anyone, but they had the MagicBand+ bands before they went on sale today. Several people (and websites) were able to get the bands when Disney sold them prematurely at World of Disney back in May. These folks could have had fully charged bands upon entering the park.

Maybe, just maybe, they shouldn't create new nighttime shows with such similar music. The Disney catalog is enormous and they use the same hits. I'd rather see them roll out HEA again and change up Harmonious, which would seemingly be a lot easier with the screens.

At the very least, we know @marni1971 is ahead of the forecast without those sleeves. :D But seriously, stay safe over there!

That's precisely what some of the comments here don't understand. Areas that never used to see temperatures like these (and aren't prepared for them) now are, which is a big problem.

It's just a sign, sure. But, it's a bummer to see so many things at WDW that made it unique, different or even special gradually removed. A lot of the "character" at WDW has been stripped away.

A stop would have been nice, but it never would've been the solution many assumed it would be between MCO and Walt Disney World.

They're the same site, effectively. Same ownership and teams behind them. You'll see a lot of the same content posted on both sites. Just an FYI if you weren't aware.

Housekeeping visited us once in 6 nights during our stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge 3 weeks ago. Clearly they're still figuring things out as things are far from consistent.

Disneyland no longer selling Magic Key. They'll give "renewal opportunities" in the future when passes expire. Sounds like Disney is going to overhaul both passholder systems.

I think @marni1971 summarized things really well. Well said, as always. Hope you're feeling well! The only thing I'd add is Walt Disney World also doesn't have a ton of exciting projects on the horizon. After TRON and whatever is happening to the center of EPCOT...what's next? Roundup Rodeo BBQ...

That fact is why some of the media reviews were so silly. Some media warned they got a bit motion sick after their third or fourth ride of the day. No one has to worry about that because no regular guest will be able to do that.

Completely agree. The focus is on the birds and all the amazing things they can do. It's far better than the UP version.
