News Walt Disney World's Character meet locations to reopen along with more shows and entertainment

Admittedly, I'll be a bit sad to see the distanced encounters going away. Some of them felt more organic and it was nice to see the characters just doing their thing without a big line.

    EPCOT Connections Cafe and Eatery

Menu looks a lot better than expected. A nice balance between traditional theme park food and some more unique options.

    Major Grand Floridian Refurbishment

The rooms definitely need some love. They're far from the best at Walt Disney World, let alone being up to par for what's supposed to be the flagship resort.

Cultural Representatives Returning to EPCOT This Summer

Great to see this return. Epcot doesn't really feel like Epcot without the cultural representatives.

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

The current bakery becoming a sandwich shop will help some of that concern, but your point is still valid.

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

Remember - Chapek said he's not sure if Disney can fund the E-ticket in California or the (mostly) cheap Mary Poppins attraction in Epcot. But a bland tower that will surely not help capacity issues but makes money...green light.

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

If ruining the aesthetic of the resort with a bland building that was literally the concept art for a different "Nature" hotel is a great addition, then you're correct.

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

Cake Bake Shop sounds like it will be quick-serve bakery and part table-service restaurant. The existing bakery becoming a sandwich shop and the new coffee shop with quick bites are more what I was citing as potential quick-service improvements.

New Enhancements, Dining Options Coming to Disney’s BoardWalk

We really enjoy the BoardWalk Inn, but our two biggest complaints are the rooms (they're showing lots of wear and tear) and the overall dining situation. The nearby Yacht and Beach resorts have much better quick-service options. Hopefully these updates remedy some of those issues.

    Disney's Punishment of Honest Media/Reviews

Let's be honest here ... we are all just waiting for @lentesta's unbiased dancing review.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Cast Members are the heart and soul of this, which isn't a surprise as cast members are usually what make Disney trips so memorable.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

I feel like this message needs more attention. Hard to imagine a lot of these folks giving negative reviews, but I think we'll see a wider range of takes compared to other media events.

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

If this is what it looks like for the media preview, I wouldn't expect anything significant to change before guests arrive. Disney's media events usually offer the absolute best version of something, including things regular guests won't experience (X-wings over Galaxy's Edge).

News Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser coming to Walt Disney World 2021

Ironically, choosing that safe middle ground may be what kills it long term.

News Disney to develop residential communities with new 'Storyliving by Disney' business

Interesting business decision. Disney giving up on Celebration seemed to shut the door on this sort of thing, and yet here we are.
