    Non park dining must do's?

Morimoto Asia and Flying Fish Cafe have both become staples in our family.

Park drop off locations for Uber

I've found it a lot faster/easier to just Uber to the Contemporary when going to Magic Kingdom and using the walkway from the resort.

    Mardi Gras Question

Going to Universal during Mardi Gras for the first time this year (yay) and have no idea what to expect. In the FAQ on Universal's website it states that rides and attractions will close at parade start. Is this solely for USF or does it also apply to IOA? And does this mean that rides will run...

Poll for AP holders on renewing or not

I'm renewing because I have two trips on the books that make the renewal price a better option than paying for tickets out of pocket. Not renewing Tables in Wonderland though...the types of trips I'm taking, in addition to the newly added AP dining discounts for this year, make it not worth it...

Breakfast near the Boardwalk - which would you choose?

Trying to pick a place for a late breakfast by the Boardwalk. Right now it's looking like it's between Captain's Grille, Cape May, and Fresh Mediterranean Market. Of the three, which would you choose? I've been to Captain's Grille, but never for breakfast, and haven't dined at Cape May in years...

Minnie's Holiday Dine... food any good?

I've done both the Christmas and Halloween seasonal dinners and both were very good. My understanding is that they upped the quality of their menus from what it was in the past. Definitely nowhere near the "vile" food that used to be served there.

Thank you! That's what I thought!

    Swan & Dolphin FP+ question

Hi guys. Hearing conflicting information from cast members regarding Swan and Dolphin policies and hoping someone here can give me a straight answer. Swan & Dolphin - 60 day FP+ reservations, or 30 days?

    Doubletree Suites Disney Springs

We tend to be park warriors as well, so there are no plans to go back to the room midday, especially staying out in the Disney Springs area. While I have an AP, we weren't planning on renting a car, as it would be one more cost, and from my experience even if we wound up Ubering to the parks...

    Doubletree Suites Disney Springs

Basically what I figured...thanks very much for the info. Definitely helps!

    Doubletree Suites Disney Springs

My friend may be able to get us a good deal at the Doubletree Suites in Disney Springs that would even undercut a rate at the value resorts on property. I haven't stayed in a non-Disney hotel in ages - can anyone with experience at this resort answer the following: - They list themselves as an...

2016 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

Our travel party bought them, but the reasoning was twofold for us - many of us are frequent visitors/AP holders and figure we'll use them at future F&W events, and we also have other regular entertaining events back home that we host where we figured they'd be useful to us. They did come in...

Have you ever *wanted* a ride to break down?

Been stuck like that a few times on HM...I will say, even though I'd much rather get stopped at the ballroom or graveyard scenes, it IS relaxing to just be suspended while leaning back. And HM is my favorite ride anyway, so they can play Grim Grinning Ghosts on repeat until the cows come home...

    Pop Century Room Rehab

I stayed in Pop at the beginning of the month, and both of our rooms were the usual configuration - not refurbed. We were in the 90s building.

    Visiting Guest Relations?

Was actually at Guest Relations Sunday night in MK because I idiotically misplaced my phone (thankfully, it was recovered!). Aside from that, only times I've been there have been to activate my AP/TiW, which I use the Guest Relations at the International Gateway entrance in Epcot for since it's...

Paint the night is not moving to Disney World. Stop bumping this.

Standing by Casey's waiting for it to start - at least four people deep all along. Been here an hour and just counting the instances of territoriality lol. Poor CMs are going to have a time of it trying to keep the walkways clear - already have people leaning up against the ropes and ignoring...

    Hurricane Matthew

Everyone we saw was very cordial and helpful to one another, holding places for people in food lines so they could get their kids to the bathroom, reassuring those who aren't familiar with hurricanes and were scared... didn't witness a single guest meltdown Thursday which was great. CMs at the...

    Hurricane Matthew

This was the bus line for Disney Springs around 5pm at Pop Century (Disney Springs pick up area under the far red Pop sign). Goes all the way back to the automatic doors between the gift shop entrance and front desk. We're not even trying...we've got snacks and the hotel's Disney Movie Channel...

    Hurricane Matthew

I think there may be some misunderstanding as to my point here. In no way am I suggesting that people should not stay informed themselves. You are absolutely right that you have multiple avenues to obtain information on the storm, be it phone, tv, or internet. And I frankly think it's stupid for...

    Hurricane Matthew

I'm sorry, but it goes both ways. I knew about the possibility of Matthew before traveling because I plan to the hilt, and made the appropriate adjustments based on the weather reports, these boards, and my family in the area. And I absolutely agree that whenever you are traveling, you should...
