News Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Permanently Closed Fall 2023

That's a new thing. Younger people don't really pick up the phone anymore, and poll texts are usually thrown in the spam bin. Online polls also aren't that great. But here, you have a large sample size of a niche population, so it's most likely very accurate.

News Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser Permanently Closed Fall 2023

4500 gets you a very accurate poll with a low margin of error. As a matter of fact, the standard to survey the country is randomly sampling 1004 people, with a margin of error of 3%.

MK Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

One of the big YouTubers got confirmation that it was. Even if it's true, which it might have been, no one is aligned in this company anymore.

I don't think the WDW models were old enough where spare parts would be an issue, they just got super lazy.

    Storyliving by Disney - a Disney-branded, master-planned home community

It's stupid, but it might explain why they still have Laughin' Place still playing in the parks: it's divorced far enough from the original theme.

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

Positive. Like very positive. Guy basically made sure every ride is a must do, or converted / changed to one.

Living in the city now, watching sports (Chicago is BIG for this, especially through public transit) = going to sports :D Watching on TV is so boring.

I'm 26, Gen Z. Anyone who was a kid in the 00's recognizes this.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disneyland Watch & Discussion

For me, the ride changing isn't a slap in the face. Cancelling the music is. Especially the cringy way they went about it.

MK Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

Most might be an exaggeration. I think it's true for the incredibly active users. But access to that information is definitely fading away...

MK Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

A while back one of the sources I know (a few people here as well) actually met Tony at Disneyland and he was disappointed about the retheme even then. Out of respect, I never shared who it was (photographic evidence). And to be fair, I think most of us here now have access to insiders, at...

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

You're damn right. But, it's very simple to remedy the hate: have things MAKE SENSE All the videogames and alt universe endeavors from the early 2000s respected the universe that was created in the original Star Wars. The prequels were meh, but are still accepted as canon to fans. The...

"And we're going to share it in two parks, which will make a big, amazing change for everyone!" Are y'all unironically saying this isn't word salad?

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

Interesting thing is that while the Prequels were bad, Star Wars VIDEO GAMES were absolutely legendary at that time. A lot of people experienced episode III first hand through the first Lego Star Wars.

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

Ugh, the thing is that while it's not as good as ANY of the OT, Revenge of the Sith was good and if the other prequel movies were that quality at least, it would be a less memable trilogy.

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

Sure, but like everything George Lucas has touched, the world building is very, very good. He's basically like Bethesda Game Studios: the worlds they come up with are incredible, but the stories that take place are shoddy.

News The Walt Disney Company Board of Directors Extends Robert A. Iger’s Contract as CEO Through 2026

My God, the stuff you say borders on parody. Bruh, NO ONE defends the sequel movies. Rise of Skywalker is a slapstick comedy. TLJ actually made people fuming mad. TFA was ok, but it was ANH with some changes. And then they'd decided "these interesting characters shouldn't be interesting"...
