No it's not fading already. Look at the picture of the head on view of this particular roof and it's clear.

Yes and I'm also bothered that all the ribbons appear to be the same width while they should be thinner as they are on the higher turrets, as to maintain the forced perspective.

I completely agree. It almost feels like instead of fading, the pink is getting darker and more vibrant over time.

I also like the cake castle. I remember seeing it in person as a kid and I couldn't believe that they actually did that - it was SO much fun. Also - even if you hated it, at least we knew for a fact the pink of the cake castle. was temporary.

This is the same argument people make when they don't want to vote in political elections. Every voice counts and if you don't like the way things are going, speak up or spend elsewhere. I used to go to WDW every year and haven't been in the last 5 years because our last trip was so unpleasant...

Until we decide to stop going and spend our money elsewhere, there is no reason for them to do any better. We (on this board at least) are all part of the problem.

I agree - but I also appreciate that the ribbons are a completely different look and that they aren't just repeating themselves.

That darker blue on the Fantasyland building is the color they should have painted the castle roofs. So much classier.

Does anyone know what scene this one is replacing? I have to say it looks adorable and the tone is just-right.

This highlights my issue as to why they didn't go darker blue on the shingles, as long as they were repainting them? As much as I don't like the pink, the darker blue would have made the pink read lighter than it is which would have helped a lot. I guess I don't get any of the decisions...

I feel like the pink is staying until the decorations come down...but I'm actually excited to see what a whole summer of Florida sun can do as far as fading goes :)

Looks like more decorations up and repainting of the roof is almost done.

Does anyone know if these barges also have fire effects like RoE?

They do protect the wearer if they are the right type of mask (preferably N95) and they have a good tight fit.

I honesty think yes you would be able to see it if the images were higher resolution.

If you asked that question 5 years ago I would say no, never. But after everything they've done recently I wouldn't put anything past them.

The should have been on the exterior of the new Guardians building - it would have been a great homage to the old mirror tiles, but also taking it into the future.

Does this mean they won't be purple anymore? They look SO much better in the (more) classic blue with the pink.
