I think this would also be the smartest decision, as it would have a timeless/nostalgia feel that would also compliment the rest of the park nicely. I would love going back to the 60's vision of what the future would be. The glaring problem with these ideas is that it will make Tron stick out...

Kylo Ren is walking around so I suppose it is set at some point during/slightly before the sequel trilogy. There is also apparently a 'mystery' animatronic in RotR, and I feel like it's going to be (older) Han, Luke or Leia.

I have. The interior is fantastic and the music is fun...the drinks are mediocre and so is the service. I understand the need for the 2 drinks/45 minute limit, but it sort of kills the illusion that this is a real bar.

Agreed. But there is no reason they couldn't have fabricated a puppet-version of this (like the Dinos that roam around Universal).

Not to mention the load/offload area isn't even in that building. I'd be thrilled if the ride was even twice as long as RnRC.

That's what I remember hearing, although I don't believe that anymore since the difference in color is so drastic. My theory is that because the Orlando version can/will support more lush foliage, they decided to stray away from the muted desert tones. The more saturated colors read better...

I can understand not blasting the Star Wars music all over the land. I'd actually prefer they limit it to the entrances, rides, cantina and restaurant. But I also completely agree that without it everywhere, something is missing. I think some very vague, tonal music would go a LONG way...

Not exactly the same, but I'm hoping for some tromp l'oeil on the level of the Miracosta hotel in Disneysea in Tokyo. I was amazing when I was there how SO much of the detail was painted. I also added the painted buildings from NYC street in Hollywood Studios.

Could still end up getting that patina-treatment. I'm super curious to see detailed comparisons of the 2 lands when WDW's is done :)

Has there every been an indoor carousel surrounded by screens? I know 'we' are usually anti-screens, but if done well, it could be amazing to feel like you are in the animated 'jolly holiday' sequence. They could even change the screen content to do layovers of Mary Poppins Returns.
