News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

None of you rode Big Thunder as children next to a heavy-set parent, clearly. Matterhorn was my intro coaster (no Go-Coaster in my youth) and your parents used to be able to hold you while you rode. The next step was Space with individual seats. Big Thunder was the true pinnacle as I had so...

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

Rockwork, camouflage painting, use of terraced planters?

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

Do we have any doubt that it will be? If they build their tentpole new land in view of the giant parking structure to look this way, who thinks they will go above and beyond this for a walkway from the less expensive parking lot?

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Weird. I guess they should put Go-Coaster in a dark building filled with the old spiders from TTBAB and it would then be the most intense coaster in southern California. It would go Big Thunder, Matterhorn, Space, then Go Coaster. It would even work for Toontown, since we would be the size of...

News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

Yeah, they either need to embrace the monorail or remove it. I'm all for keeping it, but then let's make it more practical. Put a stop somewhere in DCA. Have it travel to one or both of the parking areas. Right now, I can take it to the far end of Downtown Disney, next to the dead ESPN zone...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Oh, I thought we were talking about the coaster and the intensity of the coaster. Sure, if you are afraid of the dark, then sure, I guess Space would seem more intense than Big Thunder or Matterhorn. It always reminds me of the Scrambler they had at Knotts that was enclosed with a disco ball...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Thunder has a ton of head choppers and helixes. Space I always found pretty tame as a kid. Its always been my least favourite mountain.

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

I'd say Go Coaster, Space Mountain, Big Thunder, Matterhorn.

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

I mean, Paris' changes have made the ride worse and worse. I haven't ridden it since they redid it, so I can only comment from videos and accounts of those who have. I'd probably still put Mission BO bottom, as the cheaply redone queue is so bad and then the ride experience is just one note...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Mission BO was consistently around 30-45 minutes until the combination of LL and running at 2/3 capacity. I've sat at the merge point and watched the CM fill up both libraries with LL and not one standby. That's an easy way to inflate the wait time in a park with very few themed attractions...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

DCA's Tower was an improved version over the Florida original. The facade and queue were a downgrade, but the actual ride portion was greatly improved by the 2.0 version. Greater capacity as well. Mission BO...its fine. A bit one-note and the reliance on screens and a cheaply rethemed...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

I typically ride RSR, Screamin', and Soarin' long before I get into the Mission BO line. Especially when they have been running 2/3 capacity for months. TOT was a number 1 attraction; Mission BO...is worth a 20-30 minute wait, tops. Especially as the last 2 times I went, I got the beauty of...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

I'd say it needs 2-3 FL-style darkrides and another 2-4 Disney-quality E Tickets first. I'd be down for them destroying Mission BO and using that corner for a mountain coaster, but not sure what they could theme it to. Maybe a Spider-Man swinging coaster if it has to be Marvel. That's the...

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

I'd say Rise is far more thrilling than Slinky Dog Dash. And I'll take more RSR/Shanghai Pirates over a Tron or Cosmic Rewind. Minimally themed coasters in voids don't excite me. We already have Space Mountain.

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

I'd definitely call RSR a thrill ride by Disney standards. I'd even say Rise is borderline as the experience is thrilling, but still hard to call a thrill ride.

News Coco Boat Ride Coming to Disney California Adventure

Maybe we are looking for musicians to play at the big family gathering! And at the end, they tell us the special spice we've been looking for has been us all along! And of course Miguel's family now runs a food co-op.

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

As a Californian, they can take our Filler Magic as well. I did it twice a month or so ago (once sober and the next, not) just to give it a fresh perspective after watching them chat about it on For Your Amusement. The Coco sequence is clearly the best part, but man....the epitome of lazy 3D...

DHS Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Except when saying that an audience member is so ugly that their face is mistaken for a Goofy mask. And then revealing it's a woman who you calling man-ish. Is that punching up? Insult humor is very edgelord. I'm not saying "Cancel Muppets!" I'm just showing that the show contains humor...
