It's funny we ALWAYS go to DTD first thing. We love taking in the Disney feel before we actually go to Disney. Walking around shopping is so much fun and gets us psyched for the rest of the trip. We didn't do that last year and we were all so ed off that we didn't. It just wasn't the same!

We usually go to Lake George in New York or we take a cruise. That's our other two destinations. We do however go to Disney at least once a year. As a matter of fact the last three years we could only afford one vacation and Disney is the one we pick!

We did Sea World and Universal and IOA back in 2001. That was the last time we were there. But we still stayed on Disney property. Why would you want to stay somewhere else? Doesn't make sense to me unless you are staying on Universal property because at least you get perks for doing that.

I don't know how you can say ours is better than Disneylands! I rode it and absolutely loved the one in Disneyland. I love the two seater seats instead of the one (it holds more people that way) and it was so enjoyable. I haven't ridden our SM in two years. I just can't get into it anymore!

I agree with the driving. Our friends hate taking the buses so they rent cars. We will NEVER rent a car unless we are going outside the world which is rare. We got to Disney only most of the time. We would never think of renting a car unless we were planning outside trips.
