Could have been "chasing ambers" which means he was getting a signal that he was coming up on the train ahead of him, but it cleared back to Green before he had to stop completely. It's frustrating being behind slow drivers....

Sometimes the K-9 unit will go through a Monorail as its stopped in a station. They will ask us to not load the train temporarily, and after the dog goes through they allow us to load.

I am going to get in touch with one of my managers, he was a HM CM and I know that he is still in touch with some HM GSMs (Guest Service Manager).

This was always stressful for our Managers, having to extend everyone's schedule an hour.

Central (nor anywhere else for that matter) can see the exact location of any of the trains, unless they can visually see them out the window. There is no diagram showing the location of the trains, if Central wants to know the location of a train he/she will call and ask their "20".

Yes I knew him as well :( Also later in the same week the Monorail accident happened, another Monorail CM was killed in a car accident, although he was not at work or going to/from, so there was no need for it to be in the news, but it was definitely an extremely tough week in the department...
